A Hot Time In The Old Town

[Ashla Marr]

Ashla takes her drink from Ni as she smiles, taking a sip. Seeing Ni had gulped down half of her drink, she decided to contuine sipping on hers. When Ashla heard Ni's comment she quickly finished her own drink and stood up from her chair. "Sure!"

[Gar]

The Zeltron led Ashla down the stairs and onto the dance floor, lifting her up by the waist and spinning her playfully. "Just follow my lead, Little Flower!" She giggled, taking the Meraluka by the hand and showing her some steps, followed by another spin and a dip.

[Jaden_Starchaser]

The band played for several minutes until they finsished the song with a flourish. The club erupted in applause. "Thank you! Thank you," Jaden said while wiping some sweat from his brow. "This next one is for you couples out there. Get your partner down onto the dance floor!" With that Jaden picked up a guitar and started playing as the band started playing another upbeat tune. About thirty seconds in Jaden began to sing:

At this Jaden started playing a guitar solo while moving to the rhythm of the music. His solo lasted for a little while until it trailed off so that way the horns and the saxophone could get some time in. The black suited man was playing the horn like a pro. They continued for several seconds until Jaden came back on the mic.

Ashla followed Ni's lead, copying her steps as she moved on the dance floor, being spin and dipped again. Her jaw dropped when she heard Jaden singing on stage. She had no idea he could sing. Now that she thought about it, as she continued to follow Ni's steps, she didn't know much about the brothers.

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

Unna still sat in her corner enjoying the show. She kept an eye on her companions to make sure that nobody could cause harm to them while they were having fun. Unna had no issue taking this role, because she felt out of place and did not want to encroach upon what appeared to be a date between Ashla and Ni.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

Duncan had spent most of the time since their arrival in the great Library doing research into what he was learning were his origins. But what he had found was more questions. He was hoping to have found a clue as to the identity of the oldest child of Revan, the person who was in fact his biological brother. But instead what he found was information on the Jedi Invetigator Master Falynn Drease, secretly Kerina Etison, who had some how been kidnapped as a child along with her two younger sisters. Even today the fate of the two younger sisters was still a mystery.

Having spent all day inside Duncan needed to find something to do, something that would take im mind off what he had learned as well as what he had failed to learn. He saw the message on his com from Jaden and changed into something less offical. He wore simple slacks, shirt, and tie all black. When he arrived it seemed as if his brother's band had just finished a set so he went to the bar and got himself a small drink.

[Gar]

When the song finished Ni clapped and screamed loudly, "YYEEEAAAHHH, MARTYR BOY!! SING IT!! WOOOOO!!" Her cheeks were flushed and she was slightly winded from the dancing, a thin layer of sweat shining from her neck and chest.

The Zeltron turned to Ashla with a satisfied grin. "I don't know about you, but I'm going to need another refreshment. Can I get you something?" she touched Ashla's cheek affectionately.

The band wasted no time in playing their next set. The sax player started a simple tune and then was joined in by the drummer and other percussion players, the pianist, the cellist, and Jaden as the guitarist until they stopped and then the black dressed man stepped up with his trumpet who used a stopper in front of the instrument to play several loud notes. The band then began playing in earnest as the tune turned lively as Jaden began singing:

Here the trumpet player took center stage as he played a solo while the rest kept the rhythm going until Jaden started scat singing and then went back into the chorus

Here the clarinet player took center stage and played his solo until the pianist got several seconds in the spotlight before Jaden began singing again

Unna sat up in a poised manner and clapped for Jaden and his band mates. She was very much impressed. She wasn't sure as to how to act in such a situation, but she made sure to show support in her own way.

Ashla clapped as well then the song ended, hearing as Ni cheered for Jaden. She thought for a moment when she heard Ni's question. "Yea, Ill have a sea breeze," she called out to Ni.
