RE: Missing You
Jaden rolled his eyes at her teasing. "It's not that sweetheart. We've just been pressed for time as of late." He looked at her with a concerned look. "I fear for the day when this Galactic Cold War becomes hot. I really dread it."

RE: Missing You
"Oh I'm sure you were enjoying following my movements," Jaden said cheekily while taking a mental note of that. "Trysta. My warrior maiden. I could never think of you as evil, but understand that I do worry for your safety just as you do mine. I don't know what I'd do if I heard you were in some major battle and were injured or worse."

RE: Missing You
"Hmm," she said then pondered the moment. "Jaden, I know what you think of Graff and the others. But separate them from the cause and you will see a deeper truth. Jenna and her baby have a right to exist. Clones are not biological droids. They are living breathing beings deserving of rights that each one of us enjoy."
She moved closer to the comlink, "Jaden, I know what it is I am fighting for. I know what it is that I place my life on the line for." She leaned back a bit once more, "if I fall in battle, I do so with the belief that my cause was worthy of such a sacrifice."
She paused a moment, "as you know, I am training to lead my own Field Army. What you don't know is which army. Graff chose me to led the 5th Army. It's made up of three Bridges, nearly all of them are clone volunteers. The history of the Fifth is amazing. Their origins go back to Olivan and the first Clone Militias. Their one of the most hardened and experienced Clone units we have. It was such an honor to have Graff pick me to lead them."

RE: Missing You
Jaden took a moment to think of his response. "You are absolutely correct that the clones deserve a right to be free. They are living, breathing, loving beings. I still remember the old clone Pel who we were with during that fight on Olivan. I still remember the look on his face when we took down that walker. He felt like he just won the clones' right of freedom. The issue is war is not the answer to this. The OPA and the Republic have a huge failure to communicate and compromise. We cannot let that degrade into all out war where countless innocent lives will be lost."

RE: Missing You
She frowned at his statement, "spoken like a true dreamer, who knows little of the situation." Her voice hardened and her face twisted with anger. "There will be no compromise to our demands. All clones are emancipated and given equal rights now." Frustration and anger dripped with every word as she spoke. "Not some sliding political scale, like what the Senate offered last year. These clones will be free next year and those ten years from now. NO, it's all or war!"
She huffed, "they didn't even want to recognize Graff as a major leader in all of this. The OPA understands that without him, there is no OPA. No, we don't have a failure to communicate. What we have is the Republic still thinking that they can bully us around and we'll just accept it."
She waved a hand before he could speak, "look, I am sorry for that outburst. I have been along side Graff at four high level meetings. I watched the Republic demand that he not be allowed in. Who are they to make such demand. And the OPA begs us to keep our tempers under control. But even the Rogue Jedi grow increasingly frustrated at these demands."
She took a few more breaths, "Graff's not prefect, but he doesn't deserve to be treated like this. He led this movement foe the past two years. Who do you think the rank and file will follow? The OPA? The Republic? No, they will follow Graff."

RE: Missing You
"Trysta I'm really trying to see your side of the argument. Perhaps if you tell me what are the demands of the OPA besides the freedom of the clones I could gain more understanding," Jaden said to her.

RE: Missing You
Jaden sighed while running a hand through his hair. "I just don't know, Trysta. Call me what you wish, but I feel as though there can be a peaceful way of doing this. War doesn't have to be the end all solution."

RE: Missing You
Trysta nodded, "Jaden, I know there is. The only problem with that is, we don't want to play the Republic's games."
She sighed heavily as if giving a signal of defeat. "Jaden, I love you. With all my heart, I love you. But I don't suspect we will be able to reach an understanding here."
She nodded while continuing, "We may serve warring factions, but that doesn't mean we must be at war with each other. Please, Husband, let us not try to wage this war between us."
