RE: What did I miss?
Arwen thought for an moment. "The gaurds ended up arresting everyone--except me, of course," she said proudly, "I decided to do a little jail brake and use my magic to make snake noises to spook the horses," whispering still, "I freed Kaleb and Dimple, along with William and Whiplash, who was another crewman of the pirates."
Being careful about what she said, Arwen continued, "Eli somehow managed to get a hold of one of the dead bodies of the cultists, since they killed themselves when the gaurds showed up. We got a priest for the task, but we were only able to ask it a few questions. Some of the information wasn't really important, like my faithfull servant just said."

RE: What did I miss?
"They're lucky," grunted Gar, sucking down the rest of her drink as Mary returned with three hot plates of breakfast for the odd trio. She grimaced when Arwen mentioned asking corpses questions. "Finger-wagglers," The half-orc spat as if cursing. But she encouraged Arwen to continue the story with a wave of her fork. She dug into her breakfast hungrily, starting with the thick slabs of smoked bacon.
Gar glanced at Elironda inquisitively. The question in her eyes clearly asked if she had anything to add.

Gar raised an eyebrow at this. Through a mouthful of food she said nonchalantly, "You can also just--" she motioned with her knife and fork like she was prying jaws open, "--tear the bottom jaw from the skull. Then you have a full view of their teeth." Gar took another large bite of bacon and then started on her eggs.

RE: What did I miss?
Arwen looked up at Eli when she heard her. She never thought about checking them for a false tooth, though now she knew what to look for. She watched Gar describe how she would remove the jaw of one.
"I think next time we get one you can assist in the information gathering, since you and my servant have a lot in common." She took a bite of her food. "We managed to catch one alive who's still alive, and learned about a boat they were using. I was going to infiltrate as one of them, but, unfortunately, the boat caught flame due to someone deciding to go ahead and handle it all by themselves. So we have to find another way to get inside."

RE: What did I miss?
Gar huffed through a mouthful of egg, swinging her fork toward Elironda, "Please don't insult me, Arwen. This bird and I have nothing in common." She paused a moment to swallow fully, then continued, "I'm not a talker, as you know, I'm just well acquainted with the business of making corpses. But you say this cultist is still alive?" Gar raised her brows incredulously.

RE: What did I miss?
Kaleb stumbles into the area, still groggy and bleary eyed from the night before. "Ooo bacon. No better way to cure a hang over."

Gar waved her fork at Kaleb. "Come, bard. Take a seat. Mary should return shortly."

RE: What did I miss?
Arwen nodded her head. "Yes, funny story, we managed to capture one and instead of torturing her like someone wanted to," pointing Eli, "we instead allowed the Cleric to perform a circle of truth, where we found out a lot of information. Like how they were using a boat for their hideout. The one they had here had been the mage's guild. After information gathering the priest offered to take her in to help change her ways, ensuring that she won't be seen and won't go anywhere. I figured I could pose as her and sneak onto the ship, figuring I could figure out where they might be heading next. But once again someone interfered and my plan went up into flames--litterally--when someone set the boat in fire." She motioned to Eli again. "Now I have to figure out what the cultists are going to do next. There is one more remaining in the city, I plan on seeing if he's still there. If he is, then I'll just sit and wait for him to see if he kills himself or if he seeks out the others. I know they are going to be coming up with a new plan, I just don't know what it is."
