A Normal Day [Astra, Ava, Nova, and Tesara] (Closed)

Ooc: I'm going to go ahead and say it's morning.

IC: The house was quite with out Riene Durro or Kaleb. Astra wondered if they were doing ok. She was currently sitting in the living room with Roza waiting for the others to make an appearance. She was going to talk Nova into teaching them to cook. That seamed like a fun activity.

" Good morning Roza are you happy" she asked the smileing baby.

Ava was up earily doing her training in the backyard. In her work out clothes. Since she had seen durro doing his, she finger it was safe enough for her to continued hers as well.

Ava had a feel Lady Loran probably wouldn't let her stay at the southern palace. So she's been thinking about taking over this place as her new residence. It definitely wouldn't be a bad thing incase they ever had to escape the home or the southern palace.

As she used a stick to for the movements, since she didnt have her blade which looked kinda comical if someone looked outside.

After an couple of hours of training she went inside knowing nova was already awake seeing her in the kitchen as she give her a kiss, trying not to get her love sweaty from her training outside.

As she left the kitchen and went into the living room seeing Astra with Lady Roza awake " good morning Astra "

" looks like you had fun training I should probably train to" she said smileing. Roza smiled and babbled at them. Which distracted Astra. " are you going to be a little trouble maker. " she said to the child gigging.

She looked back to Nova. " perhaps you should get cleaned up" Astra said with a grin.

Ava watched and smiled softly wondering how to help Astra with her dream. Maybe she could talk to sun co about doing a second chance thing for jedi who find themselves outside of the order. Wondering how to sell that and how they get profit out of it as she went off to take a quick shower.

By the time Ava would have come back Roza would be napping happily in the hover pram. Astra headed into the kitchen with the intent of helping Nova with whatever she was doing.

The two would hear Nova mumbling to herself. "Well that isn't right. Now where did he hide his spices?" It was already disorganized mess with a bit of order. Cabinets that would of been too high for the petite 4'10" woman, had all it's contents out on the counters, even if she didn't need them. Any drawer that held anything was out too for convenience sake, though she seems to think there was more spices other than the generic salt and pepper.

She then heard footsteps. "Oh hello you two." She seemed in a brighter mood than usual, maybe over something Ava did earlier.

Ava watched Nova " do you need any assistance with anything my love? " as her and Astra entered the kitchen. She may not be able to help cook but could do other things to assist. Having an feeling Astra wanted to assist as well.

Nova smiled at them both, "My height was the issue. A lot of kitchens aren't sized for me so it often becomes this mess." She explained to Astra before giving a nod, "But I would like assistance very much. I am trying to find if he was cultured or not."

Ava listened as she walked over remembering that fact. " which cabinet are you trying to get to and what do you need? " since she was tall enough to reach all of them.

Astra smiled" I see, I guess that names sense" she said Downing as she left the kitchen for a moment to check on Roza then returned. She smiled. " ok what are your looking for" astr asked

Nova directed Ava to check the last few cabinets she hadn't check since waking up at 4am. She then looked at Astra when she came back, "If you are worried about Roza, we can bring her in here and be able to watch over her and other things." She then turned to Ava, "I rather not use my spices if I can help it but I can only find salt and pepper."

Astra smiled " worried no just need to check on her she's only in the others room and she is asleep I would prefer we net wake her up." Astra said gently as sis checked the cabinets.

"I am sure Tesara could watch over her if you want." Since Tesara was somewhere in the house. She then noticed they didn't find the spices, "Welp guess I am going to have to use mine." She pulled out spices that Astra wouldn't know of, spices from their own universe(if there is some the same, it is very expensive or hard to find). In the bag she pulled the spices out, Ava and Astra would notice a piece of twine in her bag.

Astra smled so "what are you trying to make? ". Astra asked with a smile.

"A breakfast of old. Something Ava will remember from long ago." She had ingredients out for a breakfast that Ava could remember from when Nova first arrived at Ava's home. "This is a breakfast I made for the Forma family when I was young. I was thinking it would be a pleasant dish to make."

Ava walked over to the last couple of cabinets and opened them all. So nova could see what inside of them incase there was anymore spices. Technically she had a spice but it was for Ryan and she was pretty sure no one wanted that kinda spice in thire food. As she closed them after nova looked inside of them and nova decided to use her own. Ava smiled seeing the peice of twine. Remembering the story over it fondly. It was the day she frist meet nova. Noticing the ingredients nova was getting out " its my favorite breakfast " it was simple but her it was her favorite.

" sound fun can you teach me how to make it" astra asked with a smile." I use to help in the kitchen when I lived at the Academy" she said happily.

"Very well I can teach you how to make this dish." Willing to teach Astra and then smiled happily, "I am glad you enjoy the breakfast I made when I first arrived."

She then got ready to make a flädle, a very basic pancake that relies on ingredients like flour, eggs, and water (or perhaps milk). The batter isn’t thick and ends up creating thin pancakes that can easily be rolled and sliced which can also be savory or sweet. A savory version will normally include chopped herbs and seasoning ingredients, like salt and pepper, will be used in the batter. Sweet versions tend to rely on sugar and perhaps vanilla in the batter. "This breakfast is flädle." Then explaining what it was.

"Which version are you both in the mood for?" Having had made a slightly sweetened style long ago.

Astra looks at Ava then Nova. I'v never tried ladle before, so what would you recommend" astra asked with a smile.

Astra looked to Ava then to Nova. " what is this universe you all came from like I would love to know more" she said

Nova hummed, "Well I made a sweetened version back then because I was young and couldn't reach the other seasonings at the time. Maybe a savory style will be good this time."

When she heard the question, she glanced at Ava. "Well I can't really describe it, my life revolved around Ava and her family. I learned everything from them so she might be able to answer that better."

Astra smiled " Savory it is" Astra said with a smile. She moved to help Nova with any tasks she was asked to do. " you know it's kinda nice to be normal for once. You know not have to worry about training or class at 4 in the morning on top of studying most of the night." She said with a sweet smile knowing days like this would not last so she would enjoy then wail she could.

" it was not exactly easy the year I spent in the southern Palace most of it was hiding but I got to spend some time with mom." She smiled shaking her head. " well when Ava feals like it she will tell us some stories from your world. Like how you two meet" she said with a grin.

" our unverise was amazing. " not minding which style nova made since she liked both. "Maybe I only think that cause back than I knew the direction I was going with my life. I had worked hard climbing my way up though the military academy. Nothing was ever handed to me, I actually earn all what I have though hard work. I had to, to bring honor to the forma name. To make sure I wasn't a disappointment to my father who was a Moff. I was just supposed to been out for an year vacation before I meet with the man who supported to take me under his wing and train me. Than just like that Alderaan was attacked. There was a lock down on the planet not even my father could get us off so we did the only thing that we could do. Decided to leave anyways and avoid being shot down by air control. We made it out of the planet just in time as it blew up and got ourselves suck into a black hole if I understand what ryan was saying correct. " as she softly thinking back.

" well you may not like how we frist meet, if you share the same views as Tesara about servants. Nova started out working for my family when she was only eight  years old and I was eleven. "

Astra turned her head " Aldaron stacked by who? What military?" She said then looked to Nova. " you know your Amazing tight Nova. I definitely can cook or use computers the way you can" she said.

"I was going to research that when we survived the attack but we ended up in this universe." Nova then finished making the batter, "Anyway, who wants to mix it?" She left the bowl on the counter and moved the small stool she had been using.

"Thanks for saying that about me. I didn't really have a great life before meeting Ava and her family. Or that is what I remember of it." She gave a shrug and looked at Ava, "I should speak of my parents, right?" Making sure it was okay to say it.

Ava thought back for an moment on the answer remembering her father's warning to get off world. Knowing it wasn't the empire or the imperials behind it. Easily ruling those out. " it was the rebels, they had  attack and destroy Scarif a few days before. Not really a military faction just a bunch of terrorist with weapons and ships they stolen and use against the empire. I was apart of the imperial military " as she lean against the wall letting Astra mix. " well it cause of her role as a child , that we became friends and eventually became something more. I was able to bring nova with me when I went to the academy as my personal cook. She stayed in my dorm and I would bring her books and material so nova can learn as well. In exchange she cooked my meals while I was there. We use her role as a  personal cook as our cover for my parents since I was military and she was a servant. I was worried they wouldn't accept us. "

"Why would they not except you, I mean I kinda understand my engage meant to Sol technically should not have happened but my parents could see how happy we were?" Astra said shrugging. She may have grown up with this social class system but she still did not totally grasp it. " It's funny how social classes works" she said shaking her head.

Ava listened and thought "out social class if someone of my class was seen with someone like nova. They would either send the servant away or punish the servant and would find someone more suitable for thire daughter or son to introduce them to. I didnt wanted to see my lover hurt or sent away. I was scared they wouldn't accept us. So I decided to keep it hidden from them"

" But why does Social class matter it makes no sense. We're all still people. We do a lot of the same things" astra said. It was clear that she was frustrated with the concept altogether. " the concept is not alien to me as you can see this universe has it. And Ava nothing is ever just handed to a Noble. I just the entire idea of social classes is dumb" astra said. She smiled at nova.

" it's clear you and Nova love each other and im glad you don't have to hide your relationship anymore." She said with a smile. " I was well I was but did not know it... I did not start as a Noble like you. I was an orphan, my life was considered worthless then I was adopted by Lord sereno and suddenly in a matter of seconds, my life has value. I was expected to behave like one of them to manners and edict on top of my classes at the Academy. I never actually figured out how to act like one of them. Then there's this princess nonsense. Does that change who I am. I wish I could pull off acting like a noble around other nobles but I can't it seems like a lie." Astra said.

Nova listened to all this and then looked at the bowl and softly gave a nod, "You can stop mixing the batter now." She then gave a pleasant smile, "Your views are very appreciated. I hope one day we can free this planet of the social circles we come to know and no one has to be a servant unless they want to."

Astra smiled " I agree but the social circles are Galaxy wide. This plant may be free from war but social circles are another story." Astra said.

"If that day ever comes i may be out of my current job. As much as we arent fond of social circles unfortunately they will always be a thing even among regular people they have thire own soical  circles. Instead of trying to get rid of something impossible. Should work on finding something they they all can agree or a common goal they could all support and learn to accept those outside of the circles. "

"Very well. Well then I suppose we shall begin work on that, there is a lot we have to do for it. Education is very important, and it should truly be open for everyone then." Figuring Ava and Astra already thought of that though as she began to teach how to make these flädle.

" perhaps if I could word it just right I could bring it up to Lady Loran since her desire is to build a school and perhaps ways of doing it in public schools as well. Key is presenting it just right so they don't think your trying to change the system only making it better. "

Astra stared at her." if my mother were here she could just order them to do it"  she said shaking her head.

" I still don't like Lady Loran. Especially after what she wants to do to the summer palace." Astra said shaking her head.

Nova hums, "She is an interesting one to work around. Hopefully my love can wiggle her way in and stop it from happening. Though we should probably make this our base." Since it had that entrance and everything into the summer palace.

" unfortunately am sorry Astra, there's nothing I can do, to stop her. I can only slow walk it with I already have in mind how to do that. Perhaps you can take it back and restore it once you take the crown if thats the path you desire.  I know your unsure about which path you want to go. As for this place I was planning to take it as my residence. I may not be able to protect the summer palace but I can protect this place. "

Astra shook her head " I don't really have much choice in my path ill have to take over to get that treaty signed and get a representative government put in place. But after that I would no longer be queen meaning I could continue the path I want." She said then shook her head. " I would rather just go rescue my mother from the Sereeno's. But that seems impossible to"she said a sad look crossing her face. But then she smiled" if I know mom she will be ok. I get my stubbornness from one of my parents" she said grinning.
"Ava do you think you can find out exactly where she is being held" Astra asked.

Astra nodded "we should probably bring it up to the rest of the group first just in case they trace the signal back here" she said then looked back to the cooking food. " it smells amazing Nova you are incredible, food in the academy never smelled this good" Astra said with a smile.

" I still remember one one of my class mates accidently throw a potato at one of the masters we got is so much trouble but it was still funny " she said giggling. Shaking her head. " I bet you guys have some pretty funny stories.

Nova gave a nod. "Especially since they tracked a signal to the summer palace and grabbed Tesara by mistake." she was almost done cooking the pancake part. "Thanks but it isn't quite done yet. Still need to roll them into roses and then put them on a dish with some sauce. Which since it is savory, it will be a slightly herb sauce." Explaining the dish. "But yeah I got pretty good at cooking due to how picky my lover is at food. Has to be my cooking and mine alone." Giving a giggle.

Just then the heard a screaming baby. " apparently Roza is awake ill be right back. " she said. The headed to take care of Roza. And return a bit later with a now happy Baby.

Ava blinked " am right here " teasing playfully at Astra " yes I will eat the food that you assisted eating. Am not as picky anymore just when I was a child. " she softly spoke. Since she did eat other food than Nova's now. Remembering her pretend reaction about the meat she ate at the village.  Keeping nova company as Astra went off to tend to baby Roza. Getting a cute idea as she turned and started playing peek a boo with the baby hearing Roza started to giggle. " no not really. "

"Aww a cutie has decided to grace us with her presence." She finished rolling the pancakes into their roses and putting them on a few plates before stirring the sauce as she could hear Roza giggling in the background. "Well she will have many lovely caretakers when she can walk and talk to us." Knowing a lot of the crew wanted to influence Roza in some way to be better than they are.

Ava listened remembering the kids that where on the Jupiter 1 that Ryan smuggle on. Ryan's actually great with kids. He even give one of the ones on board a helmet. It was cute. " leaving the smuggling part out.  Since Ryan wasn't a bad guy and the smuggling was the sorce of current income

Nova went to answer that but Ava beat her to it which made her giggle. "I guess she would find out once she met him. He is interesting and likes spice too much which often ends up with Tesara bickering with him." She watched the pot closely,

"He has a cat... what did he name it again? I know we wanted to call it Shire but did he change the name of it? Anyway besides the point, only he can see this cat but he is good at piloting so we keep him around."

" Shiloh. " she sighed " he renamed it Shiloh cause he said the cat didn't like shire. " shaking her head. " its bad enough i entertain him with it and thought of a name for his non existent cat. " ava softly spoke

Ava looked concerned now as she thought how to explain. She pace a little thinking to herself. " it enchances his senses and gives him a fearless sence. Meaning if something starts shooting at the ship he won't got freaking out wasting time saying someone shooting at the ship. He will get on the com and say " boss lady someone's trying to shoot at us. " as she explained it in a military way. "  It helps him do his job better. I know it sounds crazy but it works for him. "

"He hasn't crashed the ship once..... Well actually the only time we crashed was out of our control as we came out of the black hole and he wasn't on spice." Trying to reassure Astra that Ryan is good at his job as she finishes stirring and began to plate the food.

Astra giggled Roza babbled trying to be part of the conversation. Astra burst into a fight of Laughter. " ok many im the crazy one but still Iv sean what spice dose to people it's a dangerous substance" she said still smiling the entire situation was to insane to make up.

" its been over an year and I know he's been on it for an long time maybe longer. Nova would have that information. I understand the stuff is dangerous but since Ryan is stil alive. Maybe he knows how to handle the amount of spice he takes " giving a smile

"From the stories he told me, his mentor raised him up on it or that is what I think he said once in his spice trip." She gave a shrug. "He is around our age so maybe 10+ years or something like that." She then held two plates, "Food is ready."

"I don't know for sure. I just know his mentor had to start working and took the poor child with and at some point Ryan had some." She put food on the table for them to have. "It would be a question we will have to ask. I have done many health check ups on him before, he seems fine and all these new friends he managed to find seems alright with him since they asked for the final stash in my kitchen. Had to hide it so he could tell me his plan once."

Nova just smiled at the both of them and then looked at the time, "I am surprised Tesara isn't here... Oh right she had gone for a jog to get exercise and to also check on something." She sat down and then looked at Astra, "We should relax since you learned a lot about us today."

Astra smiled and sat at the table. " yes we should play a game or something that might be fun" astra said. Roza giggled and babbled. Grabing and pulling some of Astra's hair. Astra just unchanged her hair from the Babys hand.

" we should go to the beach many after Teesara gets back" Astra sigested.

"Well we should as a group get this house officially Lady Forma's and then probably enjoy ourselves afterwards, I am not sure who or where spies of the family is and we should stay safe for now." Taking a bite of her food happy.

" I shall figure out how to make the arrangements " not completely sure who to talk to about residence. She would asked mr. Luscious and go from there. Hoping it wouldn't cost to much to take over. She needed to figure out a second sorce of income. Looking at nova thinking how they could do that she got an idea. However it should happen once they come back from going to Baklid 2. As she begin to eat her own food as well

Tesara can hear the girls talking in the kitchen when she returns from her run. She takes a shower, gets dressed and is entering the kitchen when she hears Ava talking about arrangements. “Arrangements for what?” She asks, smiling at them and running her fingers gently through Roma’s hair, making the baby squeak and giggle.

“Oooh… thank you!” She took a plate and ate. “I can do dishes if you’d like.” She says, then glances at Ava. “It would be good to keep this house as a residence, not only because we’re familiar with it, but because it does contain a very secret passage between Summer Palace and here. It is a bit of a security risk.”

“And we can use the passageway close to the house for underground activities. They’d literally be underground.”

"Oh speaking of underground, I was thinking that this planet needs an unbiased news where it isn't influenced by any government. Though it is going to be hard to set up and I need more training to plan it." She looked at her plate and then Ava.

" ofcourse to move right now and try anything would fail. We can get the plant and just keep it alive since am unsure if anything on the grounds will be changed. Its best to get the plant while its available and just keep it alive. " giving a nod to Tesara about her idea about using the passageway for underground activities. " its delicious you and Astra did a wonderful job " praising the pancakes.

Tesara nods in Nova’s direction, then swallows. “I absolutely agree that an unbiased news network would do worlds of good, and it is one of the more dangerous things to attempt. I really wish we had Lysire’s help. She’s insanely good at getting information.” Without hesitating, she plunges ahead, not giving any attention to the history that Nova and Lysire had. “I’m really interested in learning more how to work with the computers and get information. So, Nova, anything I can do to help, just let me know.”

"Well I guess I am a mentor now like my mentor then. I was helping Astra learn how to make this meal today so why not teach how to work on computers too?" She softly smiled before looking outside, "Though I think getting that plant that Vinh had said to give heart attacks will be good now rather than later, so we can move around without Lady Loran's watchful eye on us after we use the plant on the prime minister. I can either let the plant take affect or attempt to save him after the heart attack happens."

" Good morning Tesara. How was your run" Astra asked? She looked to Roza and frowned for a moment. " im sorry I was not up sooner to spar with you but someone decided she was not going to bed last night" she said with a slight giggle.

Astra blinked " I agree the Prime Minister needs to be stopped but to hill him" Astra said clearly uncomfortable with the idea.

Tesara bit her lip. “I’m sorry I can’t do anything in relation with your plan with the Prime Minister.” She said quietly. “For me that dances too close to the Darkside, and I cannot condone or take part in it.” She looks at Roza thoughtfully then at Astra. “Don’t worry about sparring. There will be plenty of times to do it.”

"I have to agree with Tesara even for Jedi of this univers. We have done some pretty dark things" she said with a shiver. She had been unlucky enough to witness a hunter intricate a suspect. But not even hunters would resort to poison. " is there no other way to stop him" Astra asked.

Tesara sat back, reading Astra’s sorrow over being put in such a position. It was a heavy burden. She took a deep breath and turned to look at Nova. “ The issue is that the Prime Minister was installed by those in the core because he believes as they do. I’m sure there are other people within the same government structure who are just fine with him. If we were to put someone else in his place, that person would be beholden to SunCo and have to deal with the others as well. This person would need great strength and excellent leadership capabilities. While the natural choice would be Astra, she is also a new mother. It is a large position to put her in and to not prepare her for it would be setting her up for failure. The best option would be to bring the queen home. She and Astra could work together. But whether or not that’s even possible is the question.”
She turns to glance at Nova again. “Can you find out what other members of government are closest to the Prime Minister and whether or not they were there before the queen was taken away, or if they came with him?”

If she could just try to find the crystal it would make today's failure worth it. She set the book down shut her eyes and tried to reach out to the crystal through the force.

Also if your remember the color of your father's lightsaber that may help " knowing the blades had different colors. "Hold on" Astra said. She set the Journal down on a nearby table. " I think I know witch one it is." she said. Roza was asleep but there was still a tension to her. Astra know better then to put the child down. "you all now your geniuses right" she said to everyone there. then looked to Ava.
"Ava do you think it would be safe to contact the Kan-obi family for help with the Event you want to do" she asked. she had met both sol's brother and sister in law and they would be happy to help. but would it be safe to contact them.

" if am going to be the next prime and its going be serious than I need the jedi in my court. Aslo having them in my court may be an opportunity for Astra here to find someone who can teach her without reliving herself. Tesara nods. "I'm sorry, I was distracted for a moment. I felt like the book was reaching out but...that can't be right. Perhaps it was reaching out to you." She says to Astra. "If you don't wish to become a Jedi Knight, it doesn't mean you're not still able to be who you are. I am not on any path to be a Jedi Knight anymore. It was something I thought I wanted when we were on our own timeline, but I know now that my place is here. We forge a path together towards the future." She smiles, then looks at Ava. "Use whatever means necessary to reach out to the Jedi, but be aware that their hunters will never give up until they have the people they believe are guilty." She sighs.

" deciding to take care of getting into good graces with the Jedi and she knew just how to do that. When she finished her call. She walked back to nova and lean in giving her a kiss before whispering a few loving things
