NPC Profile: Dolores Traver (Deceased)
Profile: Dolores Traver
Rank: Petty officer, 2nd Grade
Assignment: USS Lantree II
Position: Yeomen

Born: 30158.64 (May 09, 2351)
Place of Birth: Earth

Dolores Traver's time at Starfleet Academy was rather unremarkable. She did not take part in any extra activities that were not required. The classes that she took were all the very basic that were needed for passage in to the enlisted ranks. Her record had no note worthy marks, positive or negative. She had to repeat her last year due to failing to pass the physical fitness requirements. After achieving the very basic of standards she graduated with the rank of crewman. Her general scores placed her at the lower end of her class and she was noted as an underachiever. Her classmates noted her as overly shy and submissive.

Petty Officer Traver served aboard the USS Lantree II (a Miranda-class supply ship) at first as crewmen working as Landing Bay Hand then later as the Captain's Yeomen. Her Supervisor in the Landing Bay noted her personal file with the following statement, "A fine individual who all too often spends her time separated from her fellow shipmates. She is awkward in conversation and meek in personality. Her attendance and her duties has never been an issue. Which has always met the basic of standards. She desperately wishes to please others and is willing to help IF directed NOT to do so. She has never pushed herself to standout from her fellow shipmates. In fact she would allow others to accept the credit for what exemplary work she does do. At this time, I can find no reason to support her application for higher advancement. Further more it is my suggestion that her she not be considered for reenlistment at the end of this tour" Lieutenant Art Hall.

According to her supervisors she never displayed the personal drive nor courage to be advanced in to the officer ranks. Her five requests to attend Starfleet's Officer Training were all rejected as lacking the very basics of what a Starfleet Officer should inspire to be like. A number of attempts were made by the officers aboard the Lantree II to mentor her on being an Officer. However she never followed through with those lessons and eventually drop the effort altogether. Petty Officer Traver never had any negative marks within her personal file nor had any disciplinary action leveled against her. She was never late for a shift and often covered for other crew members when they were late or skipped their shifts all together. It became common knowledge aboard her ship, that Petty Officer Traver could easily be convinced to pick up a shift from another crew member even if it meant giving up her own personal plans.

During a pirate attack, a small band of pirates snuck aboard via a transport shuttle. Petty Officer Traver was the first crew member that came in contact with the pirates. Instead of sounding the alarm, she allowed herself to be taken hostage. Two other members of the crew were shortly captured after the fact. During that encounter, a third crew member, Petty Officer Kline, was able to sound the alarm. Petty Officer Kline was wounded during the encounter. The ship's security teams were able to capture the pirates and end the threat. Ten crew members were wounded and one crew member had been killed during the fire fight for the ship. Petty Officer Traver and the two other crew members were freed after the encounter. While Petty Officer Traver's actions were not in violation of Starfleet Protocols, they were not heroic either. Petty Officer Traver was transferred out of the Landing Bay at the request of the supervisor of the Cargo Bay/Landing Bay

Lacking a place on the ship that would accept her, Captain Marcin Karga agreed to take her on as his personal Yeoman till her service ran out in two years. During this time, she made for a fine Yeoman to her Captain. Captain Karga had even began speaking with her about her reenlisting and staying on in her current position. However in early 2374, the USS Lantree II and all hands went missing as they were traveling to the Argus Array from Starbase 214. It was assumed and later confirmed that they supply ship had been attacked by Dominion forces. It was believed that all hands were lost during the attack. However a number of survivors including Petty Officer Traver were rescued in mid Mar, 2375 by elements of Starfleet Marine's, 10th Recon Battalion from the Velos VII internment camp. Though the rest of her shipmates were able to be evacuated, for reasons unknown Petty Officer Traver did not board one of the many rescue shuttles. She was recaptured by Dominion Forces along with the rest of the 10th Recon on Mar 29, 2375.

Petty Officer Traver was finally liberated from captivity on Feb 04, 2376. She was discovered by Starfleet personal from Deep Space Nine. It was reported that she had been kept away from other prisoners in a metal box in the back of a storage container. Because she was suffering from extreme Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, she was transferred to Starfleet Medical for treatment. days following her liberation, she attempted to commit suicide by using a sheet from her bed to hang herself. The attempt was stopped by medical personal and she was placed on suicide watch. Medical evaluations indicated that she had been exposed to extreme torture (both physical and emotional) and regular physical assault during her captivity. Weeks after being liberated she still believed that she was a prisoner of war in the custody of her Caradassian guards.

She was diagnosed with Borderline personality disorder, due to her Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. She underwent counseling and therapy to help her over come the horrific nightmares and flashbacks as a result of her captivity. Early on, during this time she attempted to commit suicide one more time by attempting to overdoes. It was by the great lengths of help from Doctor Christopher D. Deering that she started to show signs of improvements. After months of positive and encouraging signs, Petty Officer Traver was finally taken off of suicide watch and moved to a lower security medical facility at the request of Doctor Deering. She continued her therapy and showed strong positive signs of improvements. She was even able to start working in hospital gift shop under supervision. In July 2376, she suffered a relapse while on an outing at the Golden Gate Bridge Park.

For reasons that Petty Officer Traver refused to answer, she had wondered off from her group and managed to sneak in to a Command Officer's only party hosted by Starfleet Command. She was reported as being hostile and extremely confrontational towards guests and security personal. She made an accusation that some of the guests were in league with the Cardassians and the Dominion. Starfleet security had to physically subdue Petty Officer Traver when she refused to comply with their orders. During the violent exchange, Petty Officer Traver injured two security personal and Captain Conley Polzin. All of whom had to be sent to a near by medical facility for treatment.

Petty Officer Traver was returned to Starfleet Medical's custody. During transport, she was irrational, violent and screamed of spies and traitors within Starfleet Command. Despite being heavily sedated, later that night she attempted to hang herself once again. After the fact, she became completely irrational by screaming and fighting against the very medical personal who saved her life. She claimed that Starfleet was trying to murder her. Her mind snapped back to the days that she was in captivity and had a complete regression. The following day Doctor Deering was forced to order her transfered to a more secure facility after a number of attempts to claim her down failed. The entire time, she fought and screamed about how Cardassian's were trying to murder her. Her hysteria grew out of control, and as a result medical personal were forced to sedate Petty Officer Traver just before they transported her to a new facility.

During the shuttle transport, evidence indicated that Petty Officer Traver managed to free herself and fought against the medical personal aboard. A distress call was sent out but it was cut off when Petty Officer Traver murdered the pilot. She is also wanted in the murders of the three other medical personal aboard the shuttle. The shuttle crashed during the escape caused damage and injury to those on the ground as well. It was because of her reckless escape attempt that Starfleet Medical was forced to list Petty Officer Traver as a danger to herself and others. Witnesses claimed to see Petty Officer Traver fleeing the scene with Starfleet security personal in close pursuit. There were unconfirmed reports of a phaser fight between Petty Officer Traver and security personal. After a short chases through San Fransisco, Petty Officer Traver was able to elude security personal.

Currently Starfleet Medical has issued a warning regarding Petty Officer Traver. Her earlier diagnosis was modified to include her current condition as suffering from psychosis. She is suffering from a mental delusions and hysteria. These mental disorders are focused on the basis that there is a Cardassian conspiracy out to kill her. These delusions are fueled and directly linked to her Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. Petty Officer Traver should be considered dangerous and Starfleet Medical should be advised if her whereabouts are discovered. Starfleet Medical has furthered issued a 'Do Not Attempt to Apprehend!' order. Her last known whereabouts, was on Earth where she was spotted walking off of a transport in Australia. It is highly likely that she is still on Earth as she had no means to beyond the Sol System.
