RE: Secured Subspace Message: Lt Cmdr V'rol to Starfleet Command
To: Lieutenant Commander V'rol
Chief Security Officer, USS Thunderchild

From: Lieutenant Issur
Security Officer, Velos VII Internment Camp

Greetings Commander, my apologies for taking a longer than expected to get back to you. I am Lieutenant Issur, one of the security officers who is over seeing the dismantling of the Internment Camp here on Velos VII. Your request was forward to me via my supervisor with the orders to comply with your request.

I have to admit, your request was by far one of the more stranger requests that I have seen in my career so far. I hope that this will set the upper limit for me. Still, if what you said was true, it was a matter that had to be resolved. I contacted our local marine detachment who were more than willing to support us during this search and recover operation.

Your information proved to be vital in our search. Using our tricorders to search for radioactive signature, we were able to locate a sealed container. Within this container, we did recover a human heart that was contained in a stasis container. We were able to prove without any doubt that this heart belonged to the late Major Maura MacConnell. Within the sealed container were holo logs of her entire time spent as a prisoner of war. Our science team were able to prove that these logs were not tampered with. The last of these logs showed Gul Bolon murdering the Major then vaporizing her body. I wont go in to details over the last days of the Major's life but I will say that I wont be sleeping well for many weeks to come. Somethings were just never meant being discovered.

I am forwarding with this message a detailed medical report on the heart as well as complete copies of the holo logs for your records. The originals have been requested by Starfleet to be submitted to the Federation Supreme Court regarding the Gul's current extradition hearings. The marine commander here has requested to have an honor guard escort the only known remains of Major MacConnell back to Earth. At this moment I have decided to hold off on any request till I hear back from you.

On a personal note. While this request has opened up a troubling chapter in the senseless and brutal conduct of Gul Bolon, I am pleased that this honored woman can finally be put to rest.

Signed,
Lieutenant Issur
