Master Heartman

Angel was thinking to herself sitting by the campfire. Angel though about Order, she was raised by. And how this new order seemed different to her. Angel never though she would be on the Jedi Counsel. Angel was unsure of herself, because her beliefs was different then Visst was. Angel asked herself a unsure question "Was it alright for her have or show emotions of love in this jedi new jedi order?''. Angel sits at the campfire thinking to herself if should talk to Visst or Daz. Angel takes another moment to think wanted who she wanted to talk to. Angel though of Daz and how she wanted to regain her friendship with Daz. Angel felt like she lost it along the way when Daz had lost his path. Maybe this would also help her find herself. Angel Stood up from the camp fire and begins to search for Daz.

Angel wonders around the encampment. Her mind was swam with questions she wanted to know. Like does new order allowed relationships? She knew attachments to people could lead the person down the wrong path. Angel mind wonder back to what was going on now. ''Where was Daz?'' Angel asked herself. Maybe she should be asking Visst these questions. Angel did want to repair he and Daz friendship she knew they have drifted maybe she was over thinking things. Angel wonders back over to the shuttle and approached one of the warriors. "Excuse me do you know where I can find Daz?"

NPC: Azgardian Warrior

He shook his head, "sorry Master Jedi, I haven't."

Master Heartman

Angel frowns a bit. "Oh alright thank-you."

Angel walks away from the Azgard Solder disappointed that she can't find Daz. After a few more steps she stops and watches the spar between Birgr and Talon near one of the landing struts. She stands there for a moment watching their combat play out. She smiled as she watched Birgr as Talon was talking to him. She watched them exchange weapons once more and continue to talk. She felt her heart pound harder in her chest as she watched him. Feeling her face turn warmer she turned and wondered off once more. As she moved through the camp site her mind raced, 'Where is Daz!?' She saw his padawan all by her self. Sitting by the fire she noticed Visst watching Ashla poking the fire with a stick. She also saw her own padawan siting by the fire next to Carissa. 'Daz where are you?' she thought with a frown on her face.

Commander Birgr

Since Talon had left him, there were only two thoughts on Birgr's mind. One was mentally going through the new moves she just taught him. The other, and more so, was Angel. He originally wanted to wait until tomorrow to talk to her, but the excitement was just too much. It was all of ten minutes after Talon left when he started to look for Angel.

He found her by the campfire, sitting alone. It never ceased to amaze him how similar that she and Talon look; and yet, Angel seemed to be more beautiful. In fact, she somehow became more beautiful since he had seen her last.

He decided to go around the fire and come up behind her. She looked deep in her thoughts, so it should be easy enough. "Is this seat taken?" he asked with a boyish grin on his face.

Master Heartman

After spending so much time looking for Daz unsuccessfully, she sits down exhausted at the camp fire. 'Daz' she thought disappointed. Her attention was lost in her own thoughts as the conversation that she wished to have with Daz played out in her mind. Angel knew that attachments were bad and could lead a person down the wrong path. But from her understanding relationships were allowed in the order as long her emotions were controlled. Maybe it was more of a thing Angel needed to talk to Visst's about than with Daz. Maybe Angel was just over thinking things once more. Angel suddenly jumped a bit hearing the sound of Birgr's voice behind her. She could feel her face turning a bit warm once more. “No” she let out a bit flustered by being startled, “its not taken.” She smiled almost playfully as she looked in to his eyes.

Commander Birgr

Birgr took a seat next to her. He seemed to glow with delight. He was still shirtless from the events earlier so his scars were showing. He looked up at the sky and said "Nice night, isn't it?"

Master Heartman

Angel smiles brightly at Bigr she moved her finger over his new scare. Her eyes drifted down to further examine it. She then realized what she was doing and snapped her gaze else where. Anywhere, 'up at the sky' yeah she thought. 'What the hell was I thinking' she blushed. “Um, yes. Yes it is its” she said with a lack of confidence in her voice, “seems no matter where at. The night sky always looks beautiful.” She said as her eyes slowly moved to meet his. 'Get your mind out of the gutter Angel' she thought trying to be playful about her feelings.

Commander Birgr

Noticing that she touched his newly acquired scar, Brigr suddenly dropped his glow for a moment and got a little serious. "Does that bother you at all?" His thought returned to the duel and thinking of her on the side watching him. He was concerned about how she felt about it all.

Master Heartman

Still lost in the moment as he spoke, “wha? Huh? You forget, I am still Azgard. Just because I wear these robes doesn't mean that I have forgotten who I am.” she paused a moment to get her mind and eyes off the scar. “Honor duels are what they are” she said as she turned to face him with her full body. “I know that you were fighting for what you believed in. If you would have died, I would have been hurt” she said looking down with a touch of sadness. “But also, I knew in my heart it would have been a good death for you.” She paused for a moment almost struggling over her own thoughts, “I don't want to change you. I, um, it wouldn't be right.”

Commander Birgr

His smile returned. "You aren't going to change me. I am the way I am. I may still be discovering what that is, but if and when it comes down to it, it is I who must make the choice. Not you, not Talon, just me." He took a brief moment to look into her eyes. He was hoping that what he said next would excite her as much as it did he. "But in the meantime, Talon has permitted me to pursue a relationship with you." He stared intently to see her reaction.

Master Heartman

Her smile seemed to brighten as the words sank in. “This is wonderful news” she commented as then in that moment, the thought of the conversation that she wanted to have with Daz hit home. Her smile slowly drifted, “but I don't know if this new Jedi Order that Visst and Daz are building will allow it. Where Visst is from, such relationships are forbidden I think.” She looked down in sadness as she tried to find away around this issue. “I just don't know if it is allowed anymore” she said softly. The duel and Talon's word weighed heavily on her mind. 'What are you first, Jedi or Azgard' flashed in her memory as she remained silent as her mind tried to over come the struggle. “I don't want to have to choose between you and the Order” she admitted as her eyes drifted downward. She let out a bit of laughter, “It would be easier if Talon lead the Order too.”

Commander Birgr

Birgr wanted to rant and rave about how she should follow her heart and forget the Order; but he also realized that he wouldn't do the same to Azgard. The only reason he is where he is, is that Talon has permitted him to do so. Not to mention there is sound logic in denying relationships. We don't want to put one person above the rest. That is why True Borns don't do it.

Birgr let out a chuckle as he looked down and took a breath. "I'll tell you what." He raised his eyes to meet hers. "I don't want to make you choose as much as you don't want to make me choose. I will wait for you to figure it out." With a smile and a sparkle in his eye, "I'm not going anywhere. For now, let's just enjoy this evening with delightful conversation."

Master Heartman

Despite all that she felt, Angel still hoped she would never have to make this choice between her heart and the Order. She knew the current situation that the Order was in and felt a sense of loyalty to the Order. “They need me” she sighed in defeat as she looked down at her own feet. Her heart and her love meant so much to her, but it was the Order and the greater good that they held for the Galaxy as a whole. If she was to be denied this love, she would be heart broken. Deep down she knew the choice she would have to make and what her answer for it would have to be. The words of her Master echoed in her memory as a tear fell from her eye. Angle knew that she would have to find another way. She would have to speak with Visst, “Visst is the only way, I know he will not force us apart” she said reassuring herself once more. She nodded as she whipped the tear away, 'for now, we have the night' she thought softly as she looked at him with a smile. “You know,” changing the subject and dropped her voice. “When Talon moves in to finish off her enemies, there is a slight wink in her right eye as she locks on to where she will strike her target” she said just over a whisper.

Commander Birgr

Birgr took a moment to relive the blade entering his gut. "She does, doesn't she?" He changes his tone quickly. "Do you mind if we go for a walk? I'm feeling a bit antsy and I fear that if I stay still too long, I will pass out...I still haven't slept yet, but the adrenaline is still kicking."

Master Heartman

Angel smiles slightly as she gives him a nod. “All those sibling duels, how do you think I learned to stay one step ahead of her” she explained with a smile while keeping her voice very low. “You just got to keep an eye out for it. Just before she strikes, it could give you the help you need to beat her in the future.” She said while wonder where Visst was, but she wasn't to worried about it at the moment. Angel moves to stand up as she looks at Birgr. “No, not at all. I would enjoy walking with you” She said as she worried about his well being. She knew he was tougher than other members of their group but still she worried.

Commander Birgr

Birgr stood and stretched. "I have only fought against her twice; and she nearly killed me each time. She has a very unique style which is dangerous. I only hope to keep learning more techniques from her."

Master Dassek

Visst had gone beyond the camp to center himself once more. There was a long hard path ahead of him he was going to start out right. He had sat in the woods meditating and focusing on the world around him, small branches levitating around him as he spoke with the force around him, moving it, letting it flow through him, the subtle feel of the emotional camp before him.

He had settled in facing it, and he felt a great many things coming from it, but most of all he felt the conflict in Angel, just like the conflict that there had been in Birgr. The two were clearly an item. The path Visst was yet conflicted on. He had seen the love lead Lysire down the path to the dark side, but he had also seen it lead Biggs back. It was complicated.

He spent several moments thinking on it before settling against attachments, not for any that he had thought about, but the ones he had not. Attachments to governments and royal families, these things too had to be avoided. They were together he could feel it through the force, he stood, making his way through the camp and approaching the fire.

Master Heartman

Angel thought for a moment as Birgr stood up with her. “I lost count on how many times I dueled against her” explained with a bit of humor in her voice. She offered her arm for him to use as support as she continued, “I remember our most fierce duel. We were thirteen and fought over a boy” she said with a giggle. “Oh he was a older boy from a noble house on Alderaan. I remember his eyes, I used to dream about how our children would have eyes like that. He was my first crush. For her, she was drawn to the military heritage of his family. Travis Harth was his name” she said with a smile on her face. “we fought for almost an hour. Our parents were so mad at both of us after they found out about it. But I won the battle only to loss the boy. He said that he didn't date off worlders, especially Azgardians” she turned to face him, “It would be our last duel. She went off the the Academy and my training with the Jedi became more focused. Also, our visits to the estate never seemed to match anymore. I only saw her twice a year after that” she remembered with great sadness. “As I watched you two duel tonight, it was the first time I ever seen her used that unique fighting style.” Not sure which way Birgr wished to head, she didn't make an attempt to lead the way. “I used to watch our Godfather train, I think it is very similar to that.”

Commander Birgr

Birgr headed off to the right, planning on circling the entire camp, counter-clockwise. "Ariq and I never needed a reason to duel. We would fight for the sake of fighting, and training ourselves. Except for the last ti..." A sadness started to sink in to him as he started to recall Ariq's face as death came over him at the tip of Birgr's blade. "Let's talk about something else."

Master Heartman

Angel nods realizing she might had brought up a sad memory. “I am sorry to bring that up. My sister and I were always so competitive with each other. For us, it helped us grow together.” She took a moment to think about something to talk about that was more cheerful. “Have you ever been to the Heartman Estate on Alderaan?”

Commander Birgr

"No, I have not. What is it like?" Birgr had been given several chances in the past to go, but he turned them down to focus on his training. Right now, he simply wanted to get lost in her voice.

Master Heartman

As the childhood memories fill her mind Angel smiles, “I remember how we, my sister and I would vacation there five to six times a year. Well before Talon and I's big fight. I used to bring Daz with me. I know how much he loves gardens and there were so many on the huge estate. There was always so much to do there.” She pauses for a moment to take a breath and to let her mind catch up to her memory. “Talon and others would spend so much time hunting. There was this river that ran through the estate that many would fish on. Daz and I used to go canoing and camping.” She paused in her steps as she tried to remember something, “I recall a library there also as well. It was under the south lawn. Daz and I used to love playing hide and go seek with other of the kids.” She says as she looks at Birgr and smiles for a moment. “I also remember the lovely gardens. They were by far my favorite of the Estate” she explained than shook her head, “Its such a shame that you didn't have a chance to see it.”

Commander Birgr

"I was focused on my training. I wanted to be the best warrior I could." Birgr didn't want to dwell on this subject but he couldn't figure out how to get her to speak more. He remained silent.

Master Dassek

Visst reached the fire not long after Angel and Birgr had walked off. As Birgr fell silent. He looked between the two as they stood there, thinking about what he had felt from the two. "Master Heartman, if you have the time I would like to speak with you."

It was not a discussion that he was looking forward to. He knew that she was personally invested in a relationship and had been raised in a different environment, one where attachment was encouraged. He had seen where it could lead both good and poor consequences. In the end he had decided it would be best to speak woth each of them and to explain his choice.

Master Heartman

Turning to face Visst, she smiles "Oh, yes Master Visst. Of course. Do you mind if Birgr is here?"

She knew in her heart that she needed to talk to Visst about her direction and the conflict of her heart. She wanted to be a Jedi and at the same time, she wanted Birgr. 'Why can't I have both' she questioned herself. After all her own Master had her lover and was a good Master. She knew that Visst would understand this.

Master Dassek

"As it concerns him I think it fair that he be here. So he can understand if nothing else." He moved an arm motioning along. "Let's walk." He continued on in the direction they had been wandering. "I have sensed trouble, conflict in you, just as I did in Birgr in his meeting with Talon prior to their duel.

He paused, long enough for them to thin about it, but not so long as to invite speech. "I am not sure if I have ever discussed the advantages and disadvantages of attachments for a Jedi."

Master Heartman

“No you haven't Master Visst,” Angel said as her eyes were on him. Her mind raced over the conversation which she was mentally preparing for. She knew what she wanted but also knew what her heart needed. It was one of those times where she was in conflict with herself. Still she was willing to listen to what Visst had to say and learn from his wisdom. “Master Drease has warn me before about attachments,” Angel added, “she said there was nothing wrong with sharing your emotions with another. She warned that I had to be careful of attachments and letting them lead me down the wrong path. She also taught me that love can help bring someone back from the brink of darkness” Angel explained while her gaze fell upon Birgr with a glimmer in her eye. “She told me that great things can be done with love Master Visst. Master Drease spoke from personal experience.”

Commander Birgr

Birgr looked at Visst before he started to speak. "And the only trouble you have sensed with me had to do with the fact that I have had to hide these feelings for a very, very long time. However, this is no longer a problem, since Talon has allowed me to pursue the desires of my heart." He reverted his attention to the object of his affection.

Master Dassek

Visst began to walk through the camp heading toward the edge of it. "Love is a very powerful feeling, it can drive people to do a great many things. I have watched it over and over again since I have been here. In the masters, and in the apprentices. I felt the darkness in Master Chun, and I can only imagine that your master played a part in helping him to resist turning to the dark side. I also have watched it in others, Biggs and Lysire a notable couple that show clearly both the advantageous and disadvantages of it. Pure love is something that stands a chance, but if you allow that emotional attachment, where does it end?"

He looked between both of them. "There is nothing wrong with love. In fact it is encouraged. There is an issue with the relationship. It is an attachment, just as a Jedi still being a crown prince of a world is an attachment."

"I have not come to this decision lightly, but The Jedi cannot afford attachment, relationships. There are great benefits, but great dangers in it as well. What would you not do for the one you loved? That is what its advantage is, that is what its cost is. Both are equal, but both are not equally present. More often one it tempted to darkness than redeemed from it." He looked between the two once more awaiting any response that they had.

Master Heartman

Angel thinks for a moment gathering her thoughts. “Master Visst, I loved Daz like my blood. When the time came, I stood at the crossroads of his darkness. I stood by and refused to follow him. I begged him to stop. Master, I have proven that I will do allot for the one I love. But I know where that line is.” She paused a moment to gather her thoughts once more. “Can a Jedi love without attachments? if so why can't I love Birgr” she questioned. Her heart sank as she realized the painful truth of this conversation. She loved both the Order and Birgr. She felt that she would have to make a choice that would kill her heart either way she had to decided. She closed her eyes for a moment as she fought back the pain that was coming.

Commander Birgr

Noticing that this issue has to do with the Jedi Order, Birgr decided to remain silent for the time being.

Master Dassek

"Your Judgment is not in question Master Heartman, nor is that of any individual. You may of course love Birgr, I am not one who can or ever would tell you how your are to feel. It is attachment that you must shed. In your galaxy I respected the traditions established by your Jedi order. What we are doing now is building one from nothing, not my Jedi Order, nor yours. Attachment cannot be allowed on any level or a line cannot be drawn. Of course there will be a relationship, and love, but you cannot commit yourself to it. Too many knights have fallen because of such distractions. It is too easy to follow one feeling when you should not, take it one step to far."

Master Heartman

She looked down with great sadness in her heart and a heavy sigh of defeat in her voice. "Master, you are correct. I don't like it but you are correct. I will follow my love for Birgr but" she explained while looking to Birgr, "keep the relationship at bay for now." she looked down once more as if to accept another hard pill. She raised her eyes up to meet Master Visst, "Should my emotions grow beyond my ability to control, I will seek your wisdom again."

She pulled away from Birgr softly yet with a sense of determined drive. "I" she said backing up, "I need some time" with a few more steps backwards she finished, "I need some time to think" she spun and ran away from the camp and the pair. No one could see the tears down her face as she rushed in to the night. She couldn't hold her strength any longer. Her heart had been ripped in two and the emotions were on the verge of overwhelming her. She needed so place to help center her mind and bring her emotions back under control. She ran hard in to the night away from the warmth of the camp fires.

Commander Birgr

Birgr watched as Angel ran off. He knew she was upset, probably as upset at Birgr himself. Within an hour he was offered an opportunity to have something he has wanted for a long time but thought he could never have, only to have it snatched from his hands before he could fully extend his arms to grasp it. He was pissed.

Once Angel was out of sight, he darted a look to Visst. He looked into the bird's eyes long enough to convey the message of 'I hope you are fucking happy' without audibly speaking a word before he headed to find somewhere to sleep...assuming that sleep was an option.

Master Dassek

Visst listened to Master Heartman as she spoke, he could tell how she was feeling well enough as she did. It was not something that would be easy for her. His eyes weighed heavily with sadness. It was a choice that he had to make for the good of the order in the future. Just one more hard choice.

Birgr's look did not make it any easier for him. Sorrow filling him, but he closed his eyes and buried it. he was glad that Birgr had not made more of an issue from it that what was the least that it would be.

Visst stood there for a few seconds before making his way back to the fire, closing his eyes and beginning to meditate available for any that would see him out.
