Appearance: 5' 4" tall, 117 lbs., Bright red hair - usually stained with grease, normally wears overalls and a blouse - again normally stained with grease, combat boots and always has some sort of tool belt wrapped around her waist.
Background:
Lyona was born into a very influential family of the Clan Star Addler. She was considered the black sheep of the family. Always running around, being more tomboy like then the prim woman that the family wanted her to be. When she came of age her parents were trying to make a better alliance with another family in the clan to further their own wealth. They decided to marry off Lyona to the other family’s oldest son. Dismayed by the prospect of marrying a stranger that she didn’t know or love almost drove her to the point of suicide.
Then one day a friend told her all about the military and how they could always use mechanics. She has always been good around mechanical devices. She used to take about the family motor and put it back together again before her parents found out. Over the next couple of days she decides that she is not going to be someone else’s property to trade for money and status.
That night Lyona packed up her belongings and left to join the military.
After several years training in repair and maintenance of ships, mechs and weapons, she finally found her niche in the world. She joined the battle with Clan Steiner, never revealing her true nature, as a mechanic for their mechs. The only thing that keeps her looking over her shoulder is that her family may find her and force her to come back with them. She only hopes that she will be known enough that she can make her own choices.
