Duncan was a bit shaken by what he had seen in the eye.  He was sure that the others were as well, but he knew that the answer for him was to mediate and center himself in the Force again. He left the others and went to find a quiet place to do just that. It took him some time to find that inner peace but once he was centered he focused on the question he needed answered. Was this the reason Lasyir had sent them to the library. Was this all that there was? Was there something more.
