The Boss Man

[Gar]

Ni skipped through the ship in her bath robe, on a mission. She had just finished taking a thorough shower, pampering herself with some lotion and makeup. Now she was on the hunt for a special somebody. The ship was small and boring, but the people inside it were very interesting. Ni came across these individuals during her search--some she avoided, some she waved to affectionately, but none of them her mark. Finally, she arrived at the third cargo hold, where she found Duncan poised in the middle of meditation. 

The Zeltron stifled a giggle and slowly crept up behind him.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

Duncan wasn't in a deep meditation as such he noticed when someone had entered the room that he had been using as a sanctuary. He opened his eyes to see the barely dressed Ni. For some reason he wasn't surprised. "Hello Ni, is there something you needed?" he asked her.

[Gar]

Ni laughed at the question, thinking it was rather obvious what she needed. But she was willing to play along. The Zeltron approached and sat down in front of him, copying his meditative stance. "I need a partner to...meditate with," she said teasingly, accompanied by her usual impish smile. The bathrobe barely covered her crossed legs. The smell of an exotic flower wafted into the air, clearly originating from some sort of perfume or lotion. Her eyes stared into his as though she was studying his every reaction intently.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

Duncan smiled. "Some how I don't think that's totally acurate." he told her. But then again he hadn't sent her away. "It's actually a good thing we get some time to talk. I wanted to apollogize for stunning you the other day."

[Gar]

Ni cocked her head at this, the confusion on her face showing that she had already forgotten about it. "Oh, you don't have to apologize to me, Boss Man," she giggled, lightly touching his thigh as she smiled up at him.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

"That's kind of you to say." he told her. "I just didn't have much time to do things any other way and I felt that the dinner was something that Unna needed to do. We are all at a crossroads I think. Decsions will be made by each of us that will effect the rest of us in these dangerous times."

[Gar]

"So serious..." she said coyly, "when do you ever get time to relax, hm?" She pulled a small bottle and two small metal glasses from her robe, "No wonder you always look so stressed...Would you like to learn how I meditate?" she winked at him.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

He looked at the small glasses and then back up to her face. "I relax when I'm able to. Seems that since being made the Commander of the 10th Division that free time has been greatly reduced. What do you do?" he asked though even before he had asked he had a feeling he knew what her answer was going to be.

[Gar]

"I help Gaddy," Ni answered simply, in the usual cheerful tone, "And now that Gaddy is with all of you, I also help his friends!" She filled both of the glasses full with the liquid from the bottle and handed one to him, raising her own glass as if in a toast. "Mostly I'm good at helping other people do their job better, or help people feel better," she giggled in spite of herself, "I guess you could say I also help people with their needs. Like your need to have a chance to relax for a change."

"I see." Duncan said as he looked at the glass and then brought it to his nose and took a snif. "Where did you find this?" he asked her.
