Jaden sits in the forward hold of the Falcon reading one of his favorite books. He preferred this area to the common area as it tended to be much quieter and it allowed him to immerse himself in the story. His imagination brought the pages to life as he read about the deranged clown terrorized the seven preteens.

Ashla walked into the forward hold checking out an area of the ship she hadn't been to yet. She spotted Jaden reading a book as she looked around the room. She sat down on the floor not wanting to interrupted him. As she took out Tod's repaired data pad. She figured she should let someone know what she done. She waited to see if jaden would noticed.

Jaden tilted his head backwards to crack his neck and as he was going back to read he noticed Ashla sitting across from him with a datapad in her hands. "Oh! Hey Ashla," Jaden said while offering her a smile. Sorry that I didn't hear you come in I was lost in this novel." He dog ears the page he is on and then closes the book. He then asked, "What's up with the datapad?"

Ashla shook her head " Oh no its fine. " Watching as Jaden dog ear the page and closed it. She controlled her emotions as she looked at Jaden. " It was Tod's, i finally got around to repairing it. Thanks to Bay's and Cox's help, though they know there's a tracker on it. I kinda figured there was something up with it since she was always talking to that person I gather that information from always peering over her shoulder. Who ever this person was was helpful and had gave Tod information. Which Tod would informed us about but am not sure how much of it she actually shared. Tod never told anyone about this and had kept it to herself. " she expressed. " I got it repaired because i wanted to informed her friend that Tod... " she took an moment and frowned slightly " was gone. I figured this person needed to know. " she explained

Jaden listened to Ashla while eyeing Tod's datapad. He remembered that Tod used it to speak to someone, but they could never figure out who exactly they were or why they reached out to the Keldore. His body sagged when Ashla brought up Tod's death. Jaden never told anyone but he felt responsible for what had happened that led Tod to her suicide. If he could had prevented the Mind Trick from the Jedi Master from happening then Tod's mind wouldn't have been violated and then fractured.

Alsha looked down at the data pad in her hands. " I miss her. I know it been six and half months since her death. I wished I reacted sooner still. " She expressed. " I blame myself, I just wished there was something I could had done. I saw it when it happened. Something in her mind just snapped, like a tigger or something. " trying to express what she had seen in that moment.

"No," Jaden said in a voice raw with emotion, "it's my fault. If I had tried to prevent that Master from manipulating her mind then maybe we could have stopped that trigger. If I hadn't even brought her along in the first fucking place then she would still be alive!" Ashla could hear the guilt that was so very strong in his voice. He truly felt and believed everything he was saying. "I killed Tod."

Alsha looked confused as she listened to Jaden express his own guilt. "No, you didn't. I know you feel that way, just like I feel like it, but no ones at fault on our end. The master didn't have to affect her mind, he could have handle it some other way, " she expressed.

"Yeah well she wouldn't have been put in that position if I hadn't asked her to come with us. Yes she ended up helping out in a big way, but still she would still be here," Jaden said. Tears were coming out of his cheeks as he remembered one of his most shameful moments. "And what did I do when she was showing panic at being in a room of force users? I listened to Auro's orders and went to restrain her instead of standing up as a friend. I didn't deserve to be a pallbearer at her funeral. I wasn't there when she needed a friend."

Ashla listened to Jaden and placed a hand on his shoulder softly. "I tried standing up for her. Many times I would question or voice to Auro my opinion. He didn't wanted to listen and I would back down. I was scared if I didn't back down I would find myself without my friends, or locked away. Auro wasn't a bad person, he just didn't take the time to understand Todd. I think if he would have given her a chance, they would have been able to get along. "
