Gadeon frowned a little after watching everything that had happened.  He let people disperse around the ship and after Unna asked him to heal her healed her a short curl around the ship to near the docking hatch where he'd be able to have a little quiet while he tended to her.  If Duncan needed him it was not like anywhere in the ship was hard to find. "What happened? I mean you were looking to be in really bad shape when we came back."

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"Thank you, Gadeon," Unna took a seat. Her body was sore and her flesh burning from the many shocks she has received from the little spider droids. "There were several tiny droids and they attacked me when I tried to capture one. They are not very lethal on their own, but the lot of them nearly killed me. I do not understand why I did what I did, but I summoned what I felt would be the last of my life force to strike them all down. I saw Cox was being attacked and I knew what I had to do. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in some of the worst pain I have ever felt."

"Well that is quite there danger, I am glad that you were not worse off.  You easily could have died, but I am glad you managed to over come your challenge." There was as moment where he took a breath before letting it out.  "You know Ni is much better at healing than I am."  Unna would be able to tell that there was something Gadeon wanted to say but was holding back. She might also notice that he had gotten a little better at hiding it while he had been away. Still Unna had know him long enough to have no trouble. "Why didn't you ask her?"

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"I am very short with Ni," Unna stated the obvious. She felt guilty, but as usual she attempted to conceal her expression. "I know I could handle the situations that arise in her presence better, but I have grown impatient, because I find it disrespectful that she refuses to take no for an answer. Anyway, I feel it would be poor form for me to ask anything of her after all that I have said and done."

"Do you think that is is right you feel you cannot ask a member of the crew for help?". He looked up to her, giving a pensive glance, trying to see just how she was taking things, he knew they were not as close as they had been all those days ago.

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"The reason I feel this way is my own fault," Unna assured him of her fault in the situation. "I do not view this as an inability to ask a crew member for help. This is more about asking a favor of someone who I feel I do not deserve it from. She avoids me, and for good reason." Gadeon would be able to see the physical and emotional pain within the Iktotchi's red eyes.

"I know it is hard not to judge her by the face that she puts forward, but if you asked her for help it would mean a lot to her." He took a moment to word the next part right. "I miss the family we used to be. We have lost that basic closeness, a lack of trust in each other is at the core of that. The same is true of Ni. I asked her to trust you and in a moment she did, I want to ask you something. Look past what you first see with her."

[Unna Hi Chaanu]

"Gadeon," Unna said sincerely, touching her friend's hand. "I do trust you and I trust Ashla. I sensed that my statement I made earlier about not receiving trust caused you pain. I chose my words poorly during a moment of frustration. I apologize for my thoughtlessness. I have yet to establish such a bond to our newer crew members. I have found it difficult to establish new connections since losing Lady Baku," Unna released Gadeon's hand and burried her head into her palms to hide her tears. Gadeon had probably rarely seen Unna cry, if at all. "Then there is Cox. I do not know what came over me or continues to come over me, but I have myself to him when I had been saving myself for so long. I instinctively nearly killed myself to protect him, which is unusually selfless of me. Something about him forces me to confront the past...the past from before you and I met."

Unna looked up, puffy eyed. "I just can not see how it would mean anything to her. I do not wish to use her. However, if you believe it will accomplish something that is beneficial to someone other than me, I will do it."

Gadeon copied her hand with his other three. "I understand, and accept your apology. I do worry that you are following Auto's path. As for learning to trust again, I am afraid that I have nothing to help with that.  I know my way of dealing with it was not helpful so I wish you luck in finding your way to learn to trust again."

He decided that should be separated from the topic of Cox.  As for Cox, I have held form to the teachings that encouraged us to isolate ourselves from attachments that would impact is in the manner that you're with Cox has.  My ways are not your ways, but such emotional toes can be volatile and difficult to explain in any meaningful way.  It could simply be that you have needed to talk about that for a long time and your feelings choose that as the right time." As they talked about her past, Gadeon stood close to her, but he had never really been much of a contact person. "Unna, I will always be your friend, never feel like I will be anything less."

Unna nodded in acknowledgement with a disappointed and shameful look on her face as Gadeon spoke of her relations with Cox. She knew what he said was true of where they came from. She was torn.

"Auro's path..." Unna said softly, contemplating Gadeon's statement. "How so?"

Her body seemed to ache more intensely as she asked this question, for she already had her suspicion as to what the answer could be.
