Find a Remedy

Gadeon had finished talking to Unna on the second afternoon, on his way back to the temple he comm'd Dunken. "Duncan, would you be able to meet me in the garden in 20 minuets?" Regardless of his response, that is where Gadeon was heading in the auto car, he closed his eyes and began to meditate. Sifting through what he had seen and what he knew.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

"I'll meet you there." Duncan replied in a return message. Then twenty minutes later he was in the garden and looking for Gadeon. When he saw where he was sitting he went to him and sat next to him. " So what can I do for you?"

"I have been speaking with the crew to get a better feel for everyone, while I do, I have found an overall positive experience, but I would like to know if, during your time leading, you have gathered any feel if you own about the crew either as a whole, or as individual members." He looked patiently on, doing his best to center himself at all times.  Emotion, yet peace.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

"Of those that have been with us the longest... I've noticed a great desire to help and not be confined to rules and regulations. I can't tell you the number of times that I have felt frustration from the others at not being able to do something because of orders and though I haven't known him long I believe that Cox feels that way to a point as well. And I must admit I feel the same way. The politics that slows things down in not just the Senate but also in these very halls frustrate me to no end."

[aipsylon]

"Yes, even in my short time I have realized, that, but you of all people, would you be willing to set aside your connections in order to have that freedom. Cox has a ship that gives us freedom of movement if you would like to take that route, yourself and Unna are the two with connections strong enough I would think they may hold us into matters. The galaxy is a big place, and it may be time we step back, do what we can where we can and leave this war to its own pattern."

[Duncan_Starchaser]

"My connections... especially those to the republic at least to it as a government is over for now." Duncan said referencing his exchange with Master Dooku the day before. "Master Dooku let the counselor know that I was resigning my commission as commander of the 10th division." he told her. "Which after I have discovered or rather I should say recently realized that's a good thing because the Force is definately pulling me in another direction."

Gadeon nodded. "Do you yet know what that direction is?" Gadeon was not sure he wanted to ask the question, but at the time it seemed appropriate.

[Duncan_Starchaser]

Duncan turned to face his friend even more. "What I know is that I now know who the true person behind all of this is. What I know is that she has been stopped before and that there may be away to stop her again." he told Gadeon. He gathered his thoughts frirst. "When we were at the Asgardian library had come across this knowledge and didn't even realize it. It was as if a vail had been placed over my eyes until the time was right. The person behind all of this is known as Abeloth and she is older than any creature out there. Every 3000 years or so she likes to burn everything that exists down and force the galaxy to start over. She designates two beings that she dubs Son and Daughter for whatever reason and they destroy everything. Uptil the last Force war the darkside always won. But the last time something unexpected happened and the lightside won thanks to Revan coming back to the light." Duncan told him. Then he grew even more serious if that were possible and in a hushed tone he spoke again so only Gadeon could hear him. "My father."

Gadeon thought for a few minuets on that, more that Duncan had decided to trust him with that piece of information than the actual effect of the force wars. He also thought back to Unna's task she had set herself upon, and Graff with his cats. He had some suspicions, but was fairly sure Graff could not be turned back, nor Jenna so linked to his fate was hers, he thought for several moments more and about the wars that were behind them and ahead of them, this war was not the one Lysire was worried about, it was what came after. He was lost in thought for several seconds about matters related and not before focusing on Duncan once more. "Thank you, for trusting me."

"There's more. Demya is my sister and I have a brother out there some where. I have my suspicions as to who that is, but I have no evidence as yet. That being said remember that holocron that was supposed to be on Bothila 3? That was supposedly a darkside holocron that Revan had created when he was a Sith lord. But it seems he also made one, a lightside one, after he had returned to the light. I'm going to see if I can find that holocron as well as his sword." Duncan said.
