Astra woke up in a start from her difficult sleep, and she suddenly realized she wasn’t fully awake yet. Her mind was no longer dulled by the medication. She never truly realized what her sight ability was giving her until it was tapped by the medication. Now, she felt herself in a world between the waking and the slumber. Her mind could reach out and feel things around her that she had forgotten about. For the longest time, it was a place of fear for her. This was the place where her visions came from, and yet so much more.

Her heart longed for Quinn, as she missed him so much. She closed the eyes of her mind and focused on him. She knew in her heart he was gone, that murderous bitch Sinya had killed him. But she hoped that maybe, just maybe she could still feel him in the Force. It was possible that his presence might still be felt, if even by an echo. She drew in a deep breath as her heart started to break once more.

“Astra?” the voice from beyond said softly.

" Quinn is that you" She asked. She had not expected to actually fined anything. But stranger things have happened.

" I don't know, we are on a plant that was destroyed by war were currently helping heal people with radiation sickness professor Kanobi beleaves it was some kind of Nuclear war" She thought.

Though to be fair I thought you were dead. I was able to speak to Sol once wail mind walking. He told me not to change the flow of the force, and not to look into the pool" She thought her mind racing for a moment.

" Quinn im a jedi and so are you? I don't understand why are you serving her" She said anxiety rising as this posibal implications hit her. Though she calmed pretty quickly she loved him after all. " remember Bakled when we slept in the same bed. I bet your father was ferrous" she thought. Strugaling to keep the giggle back.

" that's not true Quinn. Jedi can love I love you, Roza, my sister Tesara, even my master. We don't deny love. You know that Quinn. I never stopped loving you and I won't even if you're a sith now. Jedi are not bad and I know there's more to the sith than being power-hungry monsters like they thought us in school " she said. She hoped he could feal her love for him.

"Astra, the Jedi are a fading candle in the dark. You and Roza can be saved. But I don't think the others can. Search me out, come to me Astra. Her Majesty will welcome you and your sight abilities. As you prove your self to her, she will even allow you to keep Roza. You don't have to be destroyed like the rest of them. Roza doesn't have to be destroyed like the rest of them."

" Quinn I still love you. But I have to go master will be waking up soon." she thought and broke the connection. She bulted upright in her bed and smaked her head on the bunk above her. " ouch" she tried to get out of bed only to get tangles in the blanket and fall to the floor.

She was convicted really conflicted. She is happy and hurt by the discovery. the there was the vision what did it mean.

Astra shook her head and looked around Seeing Durro was not there she quickly got dressed. In her hast she forgot to do anything with her long crazy hair so it was messyer then usual. She left the shuttle in snitch of him." Master where are you" she called.

" well Quinn is alive but he is a Sith now, and I saw a vision of the sith queens army she is on the move but she will take years to take over the galaxy and Roza she was at the hart of a battle helping the sith Queen." She said in a rush. She was Anxious and conflicted and well panicked. She spock quickly and as if her mind was working faster then she could speak.

"  master this is serious!" She said standing an pacing. " Ok ill start with Quinn as he is easier to explain I think he is anyway." She said taking several more steps her mind raced for a few more moments befor she sit down in front of Durro.

She shut her eyes and took several deep breaths. " Master I was asleep when the vision happened it woke me up. But it was one that spaned a long time years maby even decades but the Sith Queen is creating a huge army. Some kind of war will wagjt across the galaxy she is going to take over. I saw a battle and at the hart of it was Roza leading the Sith queens army. After I woke up I was in a weard state of half asleep. There's a place between asleep and awake where the visions come from. Wail I was there I ditched for Quinn I did not expect to find anything I thought he was dead but some how I found him and he's alive but he is part of the Sith empire. They have force the folores of the mother to join them. He did try to convince me to join him as a sith and tried searching for me I believe I broke the connection befor he found me though" She said. Telling the story much more carefully she was still a mess of emotions but by the end of her story she seamed to calm somewhat.

" what why im so. Quinn the man I love has fallen to the dark side. I have had multiple visions of my child falling to the dark side and serving the sith queen. So yes im agitated. Wouldn't you be." She said. Frustration taking hold for a breast moment. She took several deep breaths trying to calm herself. " I don't know what is going on with Roza and it frightening. The first vision I had of her she was visiting my grave. Bakled had become a militarozed planet. She mentioned being angry with me for leaving her. And that a dark side was on the thrown of baklid. After that I saw a vision of her the vision I saw in the pool. I would take my own life and she would join the sith queen." She said quietly tears streaked her face for a moment she was quick to wipe them away. She really did not need to cry right now. Then the vision this morning of her surviving the sith queen. I don't understand master the first vision she had become a jedi, I don't know what happened. And now quinn has fallen to the dark side. Master im conflicted about that. One pane hand he is a sith now on the other I still love him." she said quietly.

He finally opens his eyes and looks at Astra intently.

"The vision of Roza as a Jedi came first, correct? What did you do with that information? Did you attempt to plant seeds to circumvent that future?"

Astra blinked and started at Durro confused. What no she did not intend to. " what no I did not mean to or well I did not mean to. I don't know. I just want to protect her from being hurt the way I was by my own mother" she said quietly.

" in the vision she said she use to be so angry with me for leaving us, leaving me alone. I know that pain too well I did not want to see my baby suffer like that" she whispered future was her falt. How could she have let that happen? How could she let the dark side corrupt her? This was bad could it be fixed or was it too late.

"Take your circumstance for example. You saw a vision of your daughter going through events you would like to spare her from. You feared you would not be there for her, and sought to change it. You made plans, you took action, you had effects you don't even know about and could never foresee and now your gift is showing you the consequences of continuing on your current path. Everything has crumbled around you and you feel death is the only escape. Why? Because control is an illusion."

"Another in your place might see the new outcome and resolve to become more powerful. To have more control over events and circumstances. Such control is an illusion; no matter how powerful we become we cannot control everything. The Force resists efforts to dominate it."

"The best way forward is to let go of the illusion of control. To let all be as the Force wills it. I will never tell you not to love, but you must also learn to let go. To let those you love live thier own lives, both the good and the bad. Be there for them when they struggle and celebrate with them when they succeed. But don't try to control them. Tears formed in her eyes. She quickly shut them and took a few deep breaths trying to force her mind to be calm. She was not going to cry again. That would do absolutely no good for her Quinn or Roza. She nodded.

" How could I have missed that and not realized what was happening," she said quietly. She felt kinda dumb for not seeing that she had taken steps down towards the dark said. "I did not even know that trying to protect her would do this master. But the force has led me far from her I can't control anything that happens to her know if I wanted. As for quinn. I'm troubled because he has fallen and he wants to drag me down with him." She said finally looking up at Durro.  She did not know how to fix her vision but she would start by letting go. Durro was right she needed to let go and distance herself from Razo she refused to be the course if her fall.

Durro leans forward and places a reassuring hand on Astra's shoulder.

"Just to be clear; I am encouraging you to love and care for her, to be the mother she needs you to be. At the same time, you have to be willing to let her go when the time comes. Because it will; eventually she will grow up and make her own way in the universe."

Withdrawing his hand and sitting up straight again he smiles.

"So, about young Quinn. He's serving the Queen of the Sith? He's trying to find you?"

" I know I understand master. All I can do for her is teach her what I know be there for her and hope she is safe and happy when she is ready to leave" She said with a smile. " but can accepting this fact truly be enough to change the vision" she said quietly.

She blinked " Yes master well I don't think he was looking for me until I found kinda. I don't know how I did it exactly. But we talked for a bit and he reached out to try and find me I broke the connection befor he could. I did not think it would be a good thing for him and the Sith queen to find us. He believes you and the others can not be saved and that the sith Queen would welcome me do to my seer ability. To be clear I have no intention of serving the Queen or falling to the dark side master." she said.

"It could. If you hold your resolve to let go of your fear of loss and a sense of control, it's less likely you'll make the mistakes that will drive her away. I don't know for sure though; the future is always in motion."

"I see... that could work to our advantage. We're looking for the Queen of the Sith, trying to find her and get close to her. Quinn is now looking for you; and in experience the best way to infiltrate the enemy camp is to get captured."

He grins at her and rises to his feet.

"I'll mention this to Kenobi, this could be a golden opportunity. In the meantime; I say we do some sparring exercises and then get ready for our last day of healing."

He offers his apprentice a hand up.

"Are you sure? I'm never had a vision change so drastically? In fact it never seen a vision change and it changed after the pool wail I was mind walking" She said

Here eyes when wide. " Master? Are you crazy a golden opportunity really he will kill you guys and try to force me to turn.  I get that I have no control but this is something that definitely needs to be avoided. Also I will not fight him master. I can't hurt him and I won't"  She said. Taking his hand and getting to her feet.

"The plan should be finalized with the others." Durro says, "But my immediate thought is you and I go. I'm confident I can stay alive long enough to recover the compass and plan our escape; while you keep the Queen and her new apprentice distracted."

He looks her up and down and says with a cocky grin;

"You can be quite distracting when you want to be."

Astra's face turns bright read. She is tempted to smake Durro for a moment. " we don't even know if the Queen is with him master! Also if you don't remember I suck at lieing. Not to mention what do you think will happen to Quinn of we do that" She said he mind raceing.

Durro reaches into his bag and withdraws his lightsaber. He holds it without activating it and asks;

Astra looks to her belt where her lightsaber hung then looked back to durro. " What do you think. Unlike you I keep my lightsaber on my belt. I may have forgotten to brush my hair but I did not for get my lightsaber. Besides you know well enough this mess takes for severe to brush and said restoring to her long carry messy hair" She said. As she inclined her lightsaber so ready to get your but kicked." She said with a mischievous grin.

With a bit of a mad cackle, he leaps from atop the shuttle to land on the ground below, igniting his lightsaber and turning to face his foe.

(((Note: THIS IS NOT CANON UNLESS TRAVELER SAYS IT IS!!!)))

Durro turns and watches Astra as she corkscrews in the air and lands behind him. They stand face to face; lightsabers ignited. Durro’s crossguards activated and both sabers humming in their hands.

Astra adopts the Makashi opening stance; saber held before her in one hand, the other hand gracefully behind her back. Durro raises his saber in the ‘falling leaf’ stance for Djem So and charges with Force-enhanced speed!

The two clash, their blades a flurry of greenish bluish yellow. Astra’s footwork is solid, though she gives ground rapidly; her defense faltering to Durro’s powerful attacks.

“You’re quick.” He says cheerfully. “Too bad you forgot Makashi’s biggest weakness!

Quickly she realizes that his strong two-handed blows are overpowering her defense and so she switches from blocking to parrying, sweeping his blows aside and stepping to the side to let him rush past. He does not take the bait, though they do part briefly; Astra takes the opportunity to cast out with the Force and rattle a nearby crate. Durro does not even look back, just smirks and says;

“You’ll have to do better than that, my young apprentice.”

Before she can lift the crate, Durro is on her again and their fierce duel continues. Switching to Soresu, Astra manages to hold back Durro’s avalanche of powerful attacks. The Force surges around them, and he Force-leaps backwards backflipping and landing ten meters away. His feet barely hit the ground when he is rolling away from a crate-missile; hurled by his apprentice who grins cunningly at him.

“Better like that, Master?” She taunts, laughing.

Her laugh is cut short by the same crate returning, with greater speed! She barely gets her lightsaber up to slice it half; both halves falling to the ground, the edges still glowing. If she had failed, it would have hit her smack in the forehead; how unsporting!

“Yes, better like that!” Durro laughs, his laugh turning into a cackle as Astra pulls the Force around herself, drawing on it for strength and feeling it course through her tired muscles.

Durro charges again, an Ataru surge against Astra’s Soresu stonewall. She holds her own, but as she feels the Force flowing around them, their lightsabers dancing and humming she feels an electrical crackle in the Force. Her master is enjoying this; relishing in the bladework. His moves are precise, his mind more at peace than she’s seen it recently; this is his art form. She draws, he fences. His precise movements find the holes in her amateur Soresu defense, and she feels the hot kiss of the lightsaber on barely miss her cheek; she leaps over a blow that would have otherwise have taken her legs off (good thing these things are on training mode!) and rolls away from  a powerful slash. Deciding the best defense is a good offence; she switches to Makashi again and presses him with her own precise movements. His blade sings and his feet tap the rhythm; she pushes him back, making him give ground, but she just. cannont. land. a blow. Frustrated, she breaks away; leaving them both facing each other, out of breath.

“Give up yet?” Durro asks with a smirk. “I can do this all day.”

“Not all day!” she fires back “Don’t we have healing to do, Master?”

Durro shrugs, closing the distance and locking blades with her. She lunges with a graceful Makashi thrust, he spins aside and lashes out with his foot; aiming for the back of her knees! She backflips, landing in a crouch and sweeping his legs; he leaps over her outstretched leg and easily parries her wild attacks; she gives ground, separating them once again.

“Nice try, Master!” She says teasingly. “You’ll have to do better than that!”

“Alright then!” He answers cockily. “How about this?”

He lunges forward, binding her blade with his quillions and ripping the lightsaber from her hand. It clatters to the ground nearby, and Durro holds his blade to her throat.

“Surrender; I’ve won. Looks like you have to make breakfast.”

“A Jedi without a lightsaber isn’t defenseless.” She retorts, though she lifts her hands in surrender… before putting them together and PUSHING with all of her focus at him. The Force surges around her like a storm, lifting her master like a leaf in the wind and sending her hurling across the twenty-ish meters to the shuttle; he hits the wall hard, eliciting a grunt of pain, before sliding down the metal hull onto the ground.

“Good one.” He says, hand outstretched; Astra’s lightsaber hurls itself at him before stopping in midair, held back by Astra’s own outstretched hand trying to stop him. The Force surges between them; Astra’s lightsaber wavering in midair as if indecisive. The contest is decided in moments; her lightsaber hurls itself into Durro’s waiting palm.

“A valiant effort!” He calls to her, as he begins running towards her. “But now, you have no weapon.”

“I have the Force!” She fires back, thrusting her hand out again. Another surge and her lightsaber smacks into her hand and activates; she adopts the Soresu ready stance as Durro closes the distance with Force-enhanced speed.

Durro crashes into her defense; this time she gives no ground, forcing him to withdraw and try again. Another Ataru surge, which tapers off into a Djem So fury; blow after powerful blow raining down on her defenses. She tries to parry him aside, to step aside, to disengage, but Durro is in the zone; the Force flows around him like a rushing river and finally Astra’s dam breaks. With a powerful strike, her lightsaber spins out of her hand and she collapses to her knees. Durro’s lightsaber smacks her across the neck as she falls, burning an angry red streak across her throat and making her cry out in pain.

“Astra, I’m so sorry!” Durro says, panicked. His blade vanishes with a whoosh and he is helping her to her feet in moments. She pushes him off her with an angry grunt.

“I’m fine Master!” She spits. “It’s just a minor burn.”

She focuses on the Force, pulling it around her, inviting its warm light to heal her tender neck. The pain vanishes, and she can tell the swelling has gone down. She grins at him.

“See? Your skill is in hurting people; mine’s in healing them.”

He holds her gaze, and smirks slightly.

“You continue to amaze me. Now, I believe that means you are making breakfast?”

“I’m going to get cleaned up.” She says. “And apply some ointment to this burn. I think you can handle breakfast?”

Durro bows an exaggerated bow and gestures grandly towards the shuttle’s open ramp.

“Shall we then?”

The two return to the shuttle to get ready for their day.
