Jaden nodded his head as he heard Ashla's words. It still didn't change the fact he could still feel the blood of all his deceased friends staining his hands. He gave Ashla a small smile and said, "Thank you for hearing me out Ashla. I feel a bit better now." Ashla didn't need to use the Force to hear the falseness of his words. He then got up and rubbed his legs to encourage blood circulation back to them. "I'm gonna head to my bunk for a nap." With that he bid farewell to her and made to leave the hold. He stopped mid step and turned back to her. "Oh," he said, "if that mysterious person contacts you can you please let me know?"

Ashla frowed, noticing the falseness in his words, and looked down for a moment as she collected her thoughts. "I feel as much at fault as you do. The best we can do is learn from this and rise up to become wiser and better in our choices," she said softly, then nodded her head upon hearing his request. "I most definitely will let you know, if I receive any contact," she assured her friend.

Jaden truly was touched by Ashla's words, but it could do nothing to wipe the blood that Jaden could feel staining his hands. Too many had already died because of him. Rey. Anong and her family. Tod. He knew that he couldn't let another coffin rest on his conscience. He nodded his head to Ashla and left the forward cargo hold.
