RE: Taking A Ni
There simply was no way to stir the Zeltron from her trance. Her mind was already gone, and her arm was limp. She did not hear him, she did not see. She only stared straight forward.

RE: Taking A Ni
The Zeltron seemed unaware of everything. Long after the man finally died she was still staring expressionlessly. After a while she eventually inhaled suddenly and blinked, noticing the criminal hanging in front of her. Ni frowned and hugged her arms around herself, trying to understand the time skip that she had just experienced. Her eyes came to rest on the face of the bruised dead man, studying it with a strange look on her face, as if she were scrutinizing an elaborate painting.
"Heh, you sure know how to show a girl a good time," joked Ni dryly, feebly attempting to make light of the situation as she stared into the dead man's eyes, "what do you want to show me next, a firing squad?"
The Zeltron turned away and said lifelessly, "Well, that's enough fun for me tonight..."She started walking back to the speeder, "please take me home."

RE: Taking A Ni
As the man hung there lifelessly, Sheriff Saar called out to the group, "alright, that's enough. The man paid his debt. Lets get him cut down and sent off to the morgue." He calmly waited for Ni to show any type of reaction or movement. During this time, the group calmed down and started the task of removing the body.
It was at this time Ni bilked and spoke about a firing squad. He didn't look at her as he spoke, "I warned you to stay at the speeder. You choose to be here." He half turned, "you put yourself here. Not me."
She turned and he followed her. There was no smile on his face as he followed her and heard her request. "Yeap," he said spitting off to the side, "I think that's a good idea."
He helped her in to the speeder as normal. The trip back to the ship was a silent one. Upon arrival, he got out and once more helped her out of the speeder. Tipped his hat as she walked past, "Good Night, Ma'am."

RE: Taking A Ni
"You told me there would be an execution. You did not warn me about the rest," Ni told him in an unfeeling voice, "I've seen a lot of death, Sheriff. But I never saw the killers take that much pleasure in snuffing out a life. Is this the path the Force led you to?" She looked into his eyes. "I'm not the one that should be asking that question, I know. But I can't help wondering..." She shivered and moved up the ramp. "I'd like to think it's the injections that made you so cold."

RE: Taking A Ni
"I only hope you were right about him," Ni muttered as she entered the ship. As the door to the ship closed behind her she glanced back and said sardonically, with a deadpan look on her face, "Good night, Champion."
The Zeltron walked through the corridors of the ship in a daze. She was tired and demoralized, but she knew she had important information to pass along. She opened her com and paged Duncan.
