RE: The Boss Man
The Zeltron nodded in agreement. "Yes, it has been..." One hand stroked his hair while her other hand pulled her bathrobe to fall back and drape over her arms, revealing her full breasts. She teased her hips over his lap and bent down for another kiss, tugging his hair slightly to pull his chin up. Her free hand began to pull apart the Guardian's own robe.

Duncan returned her kiss but then broke it as he took her hands in his. "Ni... I know you're trying to help. But I can't do this." he told her. Even though Kira had been dead a few years now, he still felt as if he'd be betraying her if he was with anyone else. "At least not right now." he added.

Ni paused a moment, smiling down at him before gently taking his hands and placing them over her breasts. She whispered cheekily as she leaned in to nibble on his ear, "Then how about now?" She rubbed her hips slowly over his lap to provide just enough stimulation. Ni's breathing was already heavy, hot against his skin as she worked her mouth down to his neck, sucking and occasionally biting tenderly.

RE: The Boss Man
Duncan closed his eyes but when he reopened them he was focused once again. He removed his hands from her firm breasts and slid them down to her waist. He lifted Ni off of him and placed her gently to the side. He was so tempted, but from what Ashla had told him earlier and what Jaden had told him not long ago this wasn't the right time if there would ever be a right time. "No Ni, I can't. For a host of reasons one not being that my heart still belongs to another." he said as he stood up and began to make himself presentable again. "Maybe one day... but not today."

Ni sighed and crossed her arms. "You humans and your monogamy. I haven't seen you acting silly with anyone, so who--" then her eyes lit up and she gasped, "Boss Man! It's Demaya, isn't it?! Now your unwavering obedience to her makes sense!!" She laughed and clapped excitedly, "You should tell her sooner rather than later, she needs a good lay! Wait, are you a good lay? Because if not I can give you some tips!!" She didn't bother to cover herself, her whole body still exposed.

Duncan smiled. "No it's not Demya." he told her and then decided to speak again. "Her name was Kira, we were part of the same youngling class. We were very in love, and had planned on asking the council for permission to marry once we had passed our trials and were knighted. However it wasn't meant to be. Kira died a few years ago in a freak accident on her way back to Coruscant from an exbedition to some jedi ruins."

RE: The Boss Man
Ni frowned upon hearing this, her mood immediately shifting as she stood up and wrapped her robe to cover her body. "I'm sorry about what happened to Kira..." she said solemnly, sitting on a nearby crate and fiddling with the hem of her robe, "Consider this, though: if you had been the one to die, and she the one to live on all these years, how would you want her to survive this loss?" She looked up at him with unprecedented thoughtfulness. "Would you want her to sulk and be stressed out all the time and never consider indulging in experiences with other beings? Denying occasions that would give her pleasure? Personally, I think that'd be selfish to expect or want of anyone still living, still capable of having sensations," she shrugged, "There is no point in surviving if you don't take advantage of being alive, of doing that which gives pleasure to the life you have sustained." It seemed a different part of the Zeltron was peeking out, a part of her that only Gadeon knew about. "How do you think she would feel about the kind of state you are in now? What do you think she would say?" Ni took a deep breath and concluded, "Bad things happen. Dragging these bad things with us everywhere we go is unproductive and, more importantly, it not fun at all."

RE: The Boss Man
Duncan looked at Ni with a look of genuine admiration. "You have to becareful there Ni. Keep talking like that and people might start thinking you're a part of the Jedi Order." he said jokingly. "But you might just be right. I know I would have wanted Kira to move on with her life if I had been the one to have died. Maybe... maybe it's time I start living mine again." He wondered if this was the side of Ni that Gadeon saw that no one else usually did. It was a side of her he definately would liek to see more of.

RE: The Boss Man
It was as if a switch had been flipped--her serious expression melted into the amused, mischievous smile that he had been too familiar with. "Oh, please! I'm ~definitely~ not part of the Order anymore," laughed Ni, back to her perky, cheerful self, "~Super~ boring crowd, and they are always stirring up drama among each other!--No offense intended, of course."
Ni hopped off from the crate and straightened her robe. "Well, Boss Man--thanks to you, I'm going to need another shower! You're almost as bad as your brother!" She picked up the bottle of spirits from the floor and handed it to him with a wink, telling the Guardian with the accustomed, impish grin, "I give this to you in hopes that you will remember to live a little more, Boss Man." When Ni turned to pick up the glasses she ensured that she bent down slowly, provocatively, looking over her shoulder to cast him another wink. Then she stood up straight and exited the cargo bay with a confident skip in her step.

RE: The Boss Man
All Duncan could do was smile as he watched her leave the cargo bay. He inhaled deeply and then sat back down to meditate.
