Taking A Ni

[Akirapryde]

He made sure that her dress was free from sand. As she dusted him off and lingered, she discovered that he didn't react to her touch. In short nothing was happening down below. "Well I can tell you this, you are not like the other Zeltron I have met." He started to walk to the speeder, "I will say this. I don't think you give yourself much credit." He glanced at her, "your more than a slab of meat. There is much more out there than a galaxy of lust."

[Gar]

The Zeltron rolled her eyes, answering light-heartedly, "Please save me the speech, Sheriff. I've heard it a thousand times. Besides, I know its not just a galaxy of lust. Its also a galaxy of law men and Jedi that won't let you have a moment of peace with your date." She looked over her shoulder at the waves longingly. "It is a shame we didn't have a chance to swim, but I suppose we can always come back. I haven't danced in a long time! I'm so excited!" Ni took his hand and gently swung it happily, gazing up into his eyes eagerly.

He nodded, "the dance is a private affair," he said with a smile. "Only lawmen and their dates."

Be helped her in the speeder and off they were. This time he headed west towards the edge of the city. "You will love this party. Just watch how much watermelon wine you drink. It can catch up with you."

[Gar]

"Is it anything like Aasgardian drink? If not, I think I'm ok," she says with a smile and a wink. She will babble and make idle chit chat until they reach their destination. The only exception was one question: "What do you think the OPA will do with this Unna person if they find her?"

[Akirapryde]

He watched the space ahead of them as they flew over the city. "The OPA? That's a good question. I know they hold her responsible for much of the war crimes committed on Olivan. Acting as the Chancellor's eyes and ears during the invasion, I suspect that they would want her put on trail for those crimes."

He paused for a moment, "then again, she was Lord Simbla personal interrogator. Some of the stories that I have heard about her victims. Either way, I can't imagine it would bode well for her."

[Gar]

Ni frowned. "I heard rumors that this military guy executed his own friend from the academy just because he was on the opposite side. It is tragic, what these Jedi do to each other over such a small, easily remedied disagreement." She eased back into her chair and mused, "What would you do if you were in his position, having all that power and influence? How would you fix things?"

[Akirapryde]

The speeder turned over the desert and continued towards a large gathering of speeders located near a farm. "What would I do with all that power and influence?" He pondered the question very carefully. "Truthfully, I wouldn't want that kind of power and influence."

He turned the speeder towards the farm. "This is the place." He said softly as he landed the speeder.

[Gar]

"That isn't an answer," she teased giddily, but left it at that. Ni checked herself over for any last stray grains of sand and smoothed her dress, ensuring that she looked her best before exiting the speeder. She would hook her arm around his and wait for him to lead the way.

[Akirapryde]

Even from the parking area the music was plan to hear. "Welcome to Rhine County." He said walking her toward the large underground barn. "Now I have to warn you. The people here have tbeir own set of rules and they take those rules seriously. So keep your hands to yourself. Less you want to get yourself in to a fist fight with some man's woman."

As they walked in to the barn, she watch a group of women and men dancing in two lines. They were dancing in rhythm with each other. "Welcome to the Rhine County Watermelon Festival," he spoke over the music.

[Gar]

"Oh, I've already tried that," assured Ni, "As exciting as the experience was, I'm not in the mood for brawling tonight." The look in her eyes when she glanced at him made it very clear what, exactly, she was in the mood for.

The Zeltron's mouth opened in wonder as she took in the sights of the festival. She squeezed his arm and hopped slightly, brimming with enthusiasm, her eyes darting around the room with awe. "This is so cute!" she exclaimed, "Where is the watermelon wine?!"
