RE: Taking A Ni
Still facing the barkeep, her back to the Sheriff, Ni reached out to the Force and attempted to enter the skinny man's mind. "Write down your sources and everything you know and hand them to us. If you can't do this for whatever reason, then speak it aloud," she added, "If you don't respond to the carrot, my buddy here can give you the stick."

Ni frowned. "Oh, but we threaten to blow people's brains out?" she retorted defensively, crossing her arms and pouting.

RE: Taking A Ni
The Zeltron stared at him in shock for a moment before something came over her, something cracked. Something fearful and grief-stricken peaked out from her cheerful exterior.
"I don't see how one technique is so different from another," Ni answered passionately, "especially when this information is so greatly needed. You said these Dark Wings are bad news! And you said that this Unna person has brought death to other planets! Do you know what happens when you listen to personal rules over good judgement? People die!!!" She turned away and stomped back to the speeder, plopping down in the passenger seat and burying her hands in her face to stifle the sobs. "You idiot...you're such an idiot, Master Henoch," she muttered to herself meekly.

RE: Taking A Ni
He slowly walked over to her and rested a gentle hand on her back, "your right," he said softly. "People do die." He drew in a deep breath and sighed heavily. "I left the Jedi because I didn't listen to my own personal code."Once more he paused. "It was just a few months before I was to graduate as a Investigator. Hell I was on track to become the youngest Jedi to led a Hunter Squad. My brother and I were prodigies at it. But what would expect from the great Saar family. A Millenia worth of Lawmen and women."
He turned and leaned up against the speeder, "we were on this industrial World in the Colonies. We tracked down our man. He was working with some local criminals. We hated them over to the local authorities. We hung around for the trial. I noticed that one of the witness were lying. My Master did that it wasn't an issue for the Jedi, and that we shouldn't be involved. It was wrong. That night I broken in to the witnesses house and found out why he was lying. One of the defendants were suspected in murdering his wife."
He slipped down till he was sitting next to the speeder, "I understood what the man was going through. Or at least I thought I did. I used my power to affect his mind to make sure that his lies wouldn't be detected again. The next day he was cross examined and the defense couldn't break his lie. The criminals were found guilty and that was the end of it. Or so I thought. On the way home, I learned that another mother was murdered. Everything was the same. It was the same guy that murdered the witness' wife. Because of that, doubt was cast on our case and all of the defendants were set free. Free to commit crime again."
He kicked the gravel, "I was so ashamed of what I had done. I couldn't believe arrogance. When we got back to Coruscant, I dropped my bags off in my room. I didn't even think, I was just numb from what I had done. I turned around and walked out of the temple with the robes on my back," he slipped his Lightsaber off his belt and held it up for her to see. "And my saber. I never looked back. I learned that week that there is no short cut to honest police work. Sure we might take longer to get him, but I know we will get our man." He slowly picked himself up from the ground and turned to look at her.

RE: Taking A Ni
Ni rubbed her eyes and sniffed the tears away. "The problem with that story is you were still trying to follow the rules. If you dont take matters into your own hands, of course bad things will happen." She crossed her arms and turned her head away from him. "Rules, codes, they only help the bad guys. They make honest people suffer." Ni cleared her throat. "So, you knew all along that I was a Force user. What else do you know?"

RE: Taking A Ni
The Zeltron smirked at this. "I don't have boyfriends. I have dates. But yes, I met him while I was traveling, on a space craft. He is more of an aquaintence. Very timid, geeky kind of guy that loves his machines like they are his children, and very harmless. I saw someone shoot one of his malfunctioning droids. I knew he was innocent." She whipped the tears away and took a deep breath, then frowned. "Wait, you said firearms are illegal here? Or just shooting one?"
