RE: Brothers To The End
"I cannot determine what is best for the rest of you. I can only determine what is currently best for me." he said and then moved over to Ni and gave her a hug. "They say that the strongest hearts are made of kyber, if that's so you have a very rare one indeed." he told her. He continued to make his way through the group then turned to face them all. "Remember the Force will be with you all.... always." and with that he turned and left the Falcon Crest.

RE: Brothers To The End
After his brother departed the ship Jaden punched the bulkhead next to him with the side of his fist and buried his head in his arm. His brother's blade was clenched hard in his right hand as his body trembled with sobs.

RE: Brothers To The End
Cox turned to Jaden with a compassionate tone, "You are carrying the weight of 2 Starchasers now, act like it."

Ni could only stare at Duncan in shock as he left. When he exited the room she pushed through the others to follow him, but then stopped in her tracks, remembering the last time she had tried to follow someone that didn't want her there. The Zeltron turned to Gadeon desperately, the look in her eyes a plea for guidance. "Gaddy..." she whimpered brokenly, "What are we going to do, Gaddy?"

RE: Brothers To The End
Jaden looked up after hearing Cox and Ni's words. "We finish our mission," he said firmly. "We get Tarkin and then we get off this world before Graff comes." He looks to Gadeon and asks, "What's the plan?"

RE: Brothers To The End
"The plan is for the moment we go back in, and discuss Ducan's choice. He may be the leader of the tenth division, but oficially speaking as many of us are not in the 10th as are, and I wish to know peoples opinions of his choice. The military may not be a democracy, but most of us are not in the military. I am a Jedi, as is Ashla In such places decisions are made by council, Ichtoch, guidance is sought from the force and the people decide as one what to do, On Zeltros a choice is made by the individual, but I ask you this Ni, try the experience of a new family. He turned to Cox, I am afraid that I do not know you well enough to know how decisions are made in your past, but would you please come along with me back to the common room so we may continue where we left off. Duncan has some things he needs to work out, clearly. I made a similar decision not long ago and I will not begrudge him his chance to find himself and his place as I did." He lead the way back to the room, and waited. "Firstly I would like to ask does anyone disagree with me being leader, or even would you like to suggest another." Gadeon looked around to the others, his mind racing as he had not expected nor in truth really wanted that. He also wanted a little time to try to come up with a plan that had some chance of success. in the event that no one did disagree.

RE: Brothers To The End
Ni reluctantly followed Gadeon back to the room, looking over her shoulder sadly as if hoping Duncan would return with a change of heart. She sat next to her short friend and quietly listened to him speak. When he asked about leaders, she perked up, nodded wholeheartedly, and exclaimed, "Gaddy is the wisest! I think it makes the most sense for him to be leader!" She gave him a confidant thumbs up.

Jaden placed Duncan's saber in his bag and made his way back to the common area. His mind was still reeling from the events that have happened as he absentmindedly sat next to Gadeon. He listened to the Xexto's speech. "I trust my brother's decision. His logic was sound. However I believe we should keep this short as we have a lot of work ahead of us and not that much time to do it."

"At the same time, if we rush this, things could get bad..." replied Ni softly, glancing toward Duncan sadly.
