Planning ahead (Open to anyone)

[Gar]

"I don't think so, I would've sensed it," Ni replied, "But when I was talking with her the image came into my mind twice. Whoever this clone is is somehow associated with a sense of comfort and sisterhood, maybe even maternal." She smiled and shrugged, "Just something to look into when we have time, I know you have a lot on your plate right now. Anyway, do you have any goals in mind, Bugsie?"

[Jaden_Starchaser]

"Um...pardon me for interrupting, but I'm pretty confused on this whole thing with Zay," Jaden said truthfully. He had next to zero interaction with the young woman and only knew her name because of Ni and Bay talking about her just now. "Who exactly is she and how did you guys meet her?"

[Gar]

The Zeltron pointed at Bay and answered cheerfully, "Bugsie found her! She is the reason why I got active in the clone Bill!" She leaned her hands back on the crate and kicked her feet happily, adding, "Her Master was a big meanie, so with the Chancellors help, we liberated her!"

[Jaden_Starchaser]

Jaden remembered reading something about Ni's clone bill after he was recovered. Though there were still a lot of questions he wanted to know about. "How did you meet her Bay?"

[Bay]

"She's a member of my clone line aparently," Bay said, "She's heavily modified and customized; she belonged to a Senator who, plainly speaking is a garbage person."

Bay sat down on an empty shipping box.

"Unfortunately, he's also involved with some really high end information technology people at the Senate. If that weren't the case I would have just sliced his bank accounts and forced him to free Zay." Bay shrugged, "If she is indeed free, which I'm not really convinced she is, I wouldn't put it past him to come after her or us for petty revenge."

Bay looked out at the blazing blue outside a view port, "But at least for now we should be safe out here."

[Gar]

Ni laughed loudly, a flame lighting in her eyes as she stated with a challenging edge in her voice, "I'd welcome him to come try! It would sure make things less boring around here!"

[Bay]

"Don't say that!" Bay nearly shouted, surprising himself.

"H-he's dangerous! I looked into his background Ni. He's royalty on his planet and he obviously doesn't care about people!" Bay took a deep breath and continued, "He has the resources to be more than just an inconvenience. He hurt Zay and he hurt y... he's hurt other woman! If he comes after us, he's not going to come at us a with a blaster or a vibroblade. He's going to come at us at an angle. That's what people in power do, right?"

Bay sighed, "Look, I know I have a tendency to be paranoid and I could be wrong, but I don't want to be caught unprepared again."

[Gar]

Ni started at his initial outburst and pursed her lips nervously, looking down at her feet as she listened and waited.

"He won't be in power much longer," she replied methodically, still staring down at her feet, "I'm cooking up a plan, an angle, of my own to come at him with. I just need to find a way to circumvent his diplomatic immunity..." She slowly looked up at Bay and smiled reassuringly, "You underestimate us, Bugsie. If we can come toe to toe with the assassins of the Jedi council and make it out alive, then we can handle a whiny little Prince that just got his toy taken away. And if he does choose a more subtle approach, as you seem to suspect..." Her smile widened impishly, "that's my specialty."

[Bay]

Bay sighed, visibly deflating, "I don't... underestimate you Ni. I know how incredible you and everyone else is. You've personally done much more with the bureaucrats in the last few weeks than I would have thought possible."

He then turned to her, his eyes ablaze in cold fire, "But you shouldn't underestimate this man either. If you're going after him, you can count on me to help."

[Gar]

Ni giggled and clapped excitedly. "It's gonna be fun, Bugsie!! I can't wait to see him get knocked off his high horse!"
