Planning ahead (Open to anyone)

Jaden watched the back and fort between Ni and Bay getting more confused by the moment. He also heard the slip up Bay had and saw the cold fire that was burning in Bay's eyes and knew he needed an explanation. "Okay okay back up," Jaden said. "Who is this powerful person are we talking about? I can gather he was abusive....Ni how did you meet this man?"

[Gar]

"Oh you know me, Martyr Boy. How else do I meet men?" retorted Ni playfully, giving him her usual wink and allowing Jaden to fill in the blanks. "His name is Merrick."

[Jaden_Starchaser]

Jaden could indeed fill in the blanks and decided he really didn't want to end up like Gadeon with Ni's sexcapades in his head. Instead he focused on the name that she provided. "Merrick...the name kind of rings a bell, but I haven't been able to keep track of all the powerful men and women on Coruscant in quite some time. Who exactly is he?"

[Gar]

"A rich and powerful prince of some sort that sits on the Senate," Ni shrugged, "He was Zay's owner. A really nasty, corrupt guy that has his fingers in the sex market and sells weapons to the OPA."

[Jaden_Starchaser]

"Hmm sounds like a very corrupt man. As well as someone who stands to gain a lot should the Republic and OPA actually have a shooting war," Jaden said thoughtfully. He then recalled their earlier conspiring to take him down. "I advise extreme caution you two. Men like that do not go down easily. It is very possible he has contingency plans in place should the light of the law truly shine on him. He'd be foolish not to."

[Gar]

The Zeltron waved his words away. "Yeah Yeah, we know. Anyway, I'm interested in hearing everyone else's plans and goals!"

[Bay]

"My goals, haven't changed," Bay said, "A safe harbor, enough credits to retire, and my friends safe."

He laughed, "Though with friends like you guys that may be harder than expected. Right now I guess I'd settle for someplace with resources that we can harvest so I can build more droids to help with those goals."

He pointed to a deactivated droid to the back of the cargo hold. It looked like the metallic love child of a mole and an armadillo. 

"I built that guy a few weeks ago. He's a mining droid and we can place him on an asteroid or a mountain and let him go to town for a few days."

[Gar]

"You called us friends!" Ni exclaimed happily, giggling and launching from her crate to pounce on Bay and hug him tightly.

The Zeltron glanced over at the strange robot he had pointed out and slowly pulled away from Bay to walk up to it. She knelt down and touched it curiously. "This is so cool, Bugsie! And it works all on its own for days? Maybe we should make it a brother or sister so it won't be lonely."

[Bay]

Bay blushed as Ni hugged him and uncomfortably patted her back. He hadn't thought about it before he had said it out loud, but he realized he did consider the others friends. He thought that was strange considering that they had faced an assassination plot together. Or maybe that was the reason why?

Bay listened as Ni exclaimed excitedly at the mining droid.

"That's the idea Ni. Eventually I want to have a few of these guys here in the cargo hold and whenever we reach a planet where we'll be staying for a few days, let them out to play." Bay chuckled, "The mining droid's programming is actually pretty smart. People who've worked with them say that the biggest trouble they have with them is that they like to work too much! That could be a problem if they ignore their maintenance, but he shouldn't get into too much trouble in just a week."

[Gar]

The Zeltron looked over her shoulder and beamed up at Bay. "You're so clever, Bugsie!" she giggled, "Maybe Zay would like to help you with this project! That would be a great way for you two to have some sibling bonding!" she stood up and turned around, "Oh! By the way, I'm going to have her stay with you whenever I have to go into some dicey situations! I know she will be safe by your side."
